The Houthis released video footage of the downing of the Saudi F-15 fighter aircraft over the Marib province airspace. The wreckage caused a local fire at the impact site however it is unknown whether the pilot survived by ejecting or died going down with the aircraft. It was also stated that what shot the aircraft down was a local home workshop made surface to air missile in Houthi territory

However these stagnations may likely be more so oil companies hoping to have buyers come by easing them slightly whilst also hoping for both straits to be reopened on the Middle Eastern region
