Jimma University Charity(Voluntery) Club (JU CHC) Receives Official Recognition and Tangible Support from National and University Authorities The Jimma University Charity Club (JU CHC) is profoundly honored to announce the outstanding success of our comprehensive progress report presentation to distinguished leaders from the Authority of Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations and Jimma University administration.

The presentation was attended by Dr.Tadese Habtamu, Vice President on academics and Director of Directorate at Jimma University; Dr. Tesfaye Aga, Director of Students Service Directorate at Jimma University; Dr. Fasika Molla from the Authority of Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations; Miftahi Abatemam, President of Jimma University Students Union; Maruf Abdurahman, from the Charity (Voluntary) Club; together with dedicated students, charity club members, and key stakeholders. We presented our works accomplished to date, challenges hindering our progress, and future plans. The authorities provided practical solutions for problems requiring immediate action and committed to fulfilling remaining support needs. The Authority of Ethiopian Civil Society Organization granted JU CHC one laptop and one printer machine for the club and promised additional resources in the future. They highlighted numerous opportunities available through this Authority for university voluntary clubs nationwide, noting that national initiatives prioritize volunteerism. Students and staff are strongly encouraged to participate to gain valuable experience, while leaders emphasized volunteerism's importance from historical context to contemporary national impact. University administrators affirmed their full support for the club and outlined additional collaborative opportunities. These esteemed leaders formally recognized and certified JU CHC's dedicated efforts, commitment, and achievements, emphasizing "VOLUNTEERISM IS PIVOTAL FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT". They affirmed that while our direct impact serves communities and individuals today, its true peak manifests in strengthening Ethiopia as a nation building the ultimate foundation for country-wide progress through every act of service. JU CHC extends deepest gratitude to all attendees for their endorsement, resources, and guidance. We remain committed to excellence in community service that scales to national transformation.

ሊደረግ የሚገባውን ለማድረግ እየተንቀሳቀሰ ነው። በዚህ መሠረት የክለቡ እንቅስቃሴዎች የሚነዱት በተማሪዎች ጥንካሬ እና አልፎ አልፎ እድሎች እንዲሁም በተለያዩ የገቢ ማስገኛ means ነው። እንደሚታወቀው፣ "አንድን ሰው Lመርዳት፣ ሰው መሆን ብቻ በቂ ነው። ሌሎችን ከመርዳት፣ እኛም የተለያዩ ጥቅሞችን እናገኛለን። ሁላችንም የምንከተላቸው ሃይማኖቶች እና ብዙ ባህሎቻችን ሌሎችን እንድንረዳ ያዝዙናል። ይህ የእኛ ልማድ ነው። ተማሪው ሰዎችን እንዴት እንደሚረዳ ሊያስብ ይችላል። ካለን ያነሰ ካሰባሰብን፣ የበለጠ ማድረግ እንችላለን። ይህ ደግሞ ክለብ ነው። ተማሪዎች በበጎ ፈቃደኝነት ጉዳዮች እንዲሁም ሰብአዊነት በሚሰለጥንባቸው የተለያዩ ልምዶችን የሚያገኙበት ቦታ ነው። በዚህ ቦታ ለሚኖረን ቆይታ የምስክር ወረቀት እንዲኖረን ሊጠይቅ ይችላል። ይህ ግዴታ ነው። ከዚህ ክለብ የምስክር ወረቀት ማግኘት የምንችልበት መንገድ የዚህ ክለብ ንቁ አባል በመሆን ነው። ለምዝገባ የጉግል ቅጽ ከሞሉ በኋላ፣ ካስገቡበት ጊዜ ጀምሮ አባል ይሆናሉ። እስካሁን ድረስ፣ ቢያንስ 190 ተማሪዎች/ሰዎች ይህንን ቅጽ ሞልተው አባል እንደሆኑ ያውቃሉ? ሆኖም፣ ቅጹን መሙላት አንድን ሰው የክለቡ ንቁ አባል አያደርገውም። የክለቡ ንቁ አባል በክለቡ እንቅስቃሴዎች እና ዝግጅቶች ላይ የሚሳተፍ እና የክለቡን ማረጋገጫ የሚያሳይ ሰው ነው። የተለያዩ ተሳትፎዎች። በተጨማሪም፣ በዚህ ክለብ በኩል የተለያዩ እድሎች እንደ ካምፓስ ሊመጡ ይችላሉ። ክለቡ ለዚህ ከተለያዩ ወገኖች ጋር እየተነጋገረ ነው። ቀደም ሲል እንደተጠቀሰው፣ ንቁ አባላት እነዚህን እድሎች ይጠቀማሉ ማለት ነው። ከዚህ የሚወጡትን ልጥፎች አዘውትረው መከታተል እና አስፈላጊ በሚሆንበት ጊዜ በአስተያየቶቹ ውስጥ መሳተፍ፣ እዚህ ጋር የሚመሳሰል ትንሽ ነገር ንቁ አባል ለመሆን አስተዋጽኦ ያደርጋል። ይህ የክለቡ የስራ ፍሰት ነው። ነገር ግን፣ ብዙ ተማሪዎች ለዚህ ጥቅም ሳይሆን ለእርዳታ ብቻ እንደሆኑ መረዳት ይቻላል። ስለዚህ፣ እያንዳንዱ አባል በዚህ ክለብ ውስጥ ያለውን ተሳትፎ ማጠናከሩን መቀጠል አለበት። እንዲሁም፣ ከአባላት በስተቀር፣ እባክዎ አገናኙን ጠቅ በማድረግ የጉግል ቅጹን ይሙሉ እና አባል ይሁኑ።

May our greetings of love, peace and unity reach you wherever you are! As is well known, the charity club, although previously existing only in name, has not been so active. More recently, it has been redesigned its structures and expected to work in two ways(2); it is being mobilized to go out on

campus and off campus and do what can be done, should be done. Accordingly, the activities of the club are driven by the strength of the students and occasionally opportunities as well as various methods of income generation. As is well known, "To help someone, it's enough to be someone. From helping others, we, too, get various benefits. The religions we all follow, and many of our cultures command us to help others. This is our custom. The student may wonder how it helps people. If we put together less than we have, we can do more. This, in turn, is a club. It is a place where students gain a variety of experiences in volunteer issues as well as where humanity is training. It may requires us to have a Certificate for our stay in this place. This is a must. The way we can get a certificate from this club is by becoming an active member of this club. Once you have filled out the Google form for registration, you will become a member from the moment you submit. So far, are you aware that at least 190 students/people have filled out this form and become members? However, simply filling out the form does not make one an active member of the club. An active member of the club is a person who participates in the activities and events of the club and shows proof of various participation. Additionally, through this club, various opportunities can come up as campus. The club is in talks with various parties for this. As mentioned earlier, it means that active members take advantage of these opportunities. Following the posts from here regularly and participating in the comments when necessary, a small like here plays a part in making you an active member. This is the club’s workflow. But, it is understandable that many students are just for the sake of help and not for the benefits of this. Therefore, every member should continue to strengthen his participation in this club. And also, other than members, please fill out the google form by clicking on the link and become a member.
