🇺🇸 Trump orders government, Fed to review crypto firms' access to payment rails U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the federal government to update its regulatory frameworks to integrate "digital assets and innovative technology into traditional financial services and payment systems" in an executive order signed Tuesday. 📑 According to the document, the U.S. should foster financial technology services into its existing payment and financial services rails.

"It is therefore the policy of the United States to streamline regulatory processes, reduce unnecessary barriers to entry, and encourage collaboration between fintech firms, federally regulated financial institutions, and Federal financial regulators," — the order said.

❗️The order directed the heads of financial regulators to review their existing rules over the next three months and identify any rules or documents "that unduly impede fintech firms from entering into partnerships with federally regulated institutions." Within six months, Trump directed regulators to "take steps to encourage innovation as a result of the review."

🕵🏼‍♂️ INTERPOL ‘Operation Ramz’ seizes 53 malware, phishing servers More than 200 individuals were arrested for cybercrime activities during INTERPOL's Operation Ramz, which focused on the Middle East and North Africa. Law enforcement also identified another 382 suspects across 13 countries (Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Tunisia, and the UAE).

“The operation focused on neutralizing phishing and malware threats, as well as tackling cyber scams that inflict severe cost to the region,” — reads the INTERPOL announcement.

In addition to the arrests, authorities seized 53 servers used for phishing, malware, and online fraud that affected at least 3,867 confirmed victims, as determined from nearly 8,000 intelligence packages retrieved from the equipment. ⚡️🪙 Bitcoin Depot, North America's largest bitcoin ATM operator, files for bankruptcy Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin Depot, which once operated the largest network of BTC ATMs in North America, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and is shutting down. 🟠The Atlanta-based company filed voluntarily in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, saying it would wind down operations and sell its assets in an orderly, court-supervised process. Its entire ATM network has already been taken offline.

"States have imposed increasingly stringent compliance obligations, including new transaction limits, and in some jurisdictions, outright restrictions or bans on BTM operations; and operators have faced increasing litigation and regulatory enforcement," — Alex Holmes, CEO of Bitcoin Depot, said in the press release.

It always makes me laugh when people are like “Trump needs to do XYZ”, as if Trump doesn’t know what’s going on. I think Trump offered China a seat at the table, and in return, they agreed to stand down while Trump completes the “world’s most powerful reset”. I think Trump and Xi have been working together in some capacity, meaning that WW3 was never a possibility, and Trump has had this situation secure the entire time. China and Russia turned their backs on Iran and turned a blind eye while Trump removes their influence in our hemisphere. The entire global system is changing, and the nations that the US call their “allies” may be a lot different in the not-so-distant future.

Things seem to going smoothly in Beijing. China agreed that the Strait of Hormuz must remain open, and Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. China officially turned their backs on the Iranian regime, and they will begin buying more oil from the US. The world is changing.
