Run Your Own AI Locally (No API, No Limits) I just started using Ollama and it’s honestly 🔥 With Ollama, you can run powerful AI models like Gemma or LLaMA directly on your own computer — no internet needed after setup. 💡 What you can do: • Chat with AI offline • Keep everything private (no data sent anywhere) • No subscriptions or API costs • Run different models anytime ⚙️ Setup is simple: 🪟 Windows users: 1. Install Ollama from the official site 2. Open PowerShell or Command Prompt 3. Run: ollama run gemma:2b 🐧 Linux / 🍎 macOS users: 1. Install Ollama 2. Run: ollama run gemma:2b That’s it. You now have your own ChatGPT-style AI running locally. ⚠️ No API costs ⚠️ No limits ⚠️ Full control If you're into tech or AI, this is something you should definitely try. More tips coming soon 👀 @From_Code_to_Creation

Can you guess where you are? it has been a while since I coded with golang and I didn't want to feel like an impostor at the GopherCon Ethiopia that's to be held this upcoming saturday afternoon. [details here] so I felt like I needed a simple side project involving golang. well also I love travelling. so I recreated GeoGuessr, the Ethiopia version. if you have never played GeoGuessr before, it is a simple online game where you are shown a random street image and you guess the place. the problem I encountered when limiting it to Ethiopia is we don't have that many street images. I have tried to add as many places as possible. some of them are even outdated by five or more years. I will be adding more as I find them. it's open source, so you can add too. multiplayer is also supported. you can play with your friend who always brags he/she never misses any place in Ethiopia. do check it and leave your comments. I would appreciate it if you leave me stars on github too :) -> https://ethioguessr.vercel.app/ @AbduIntheLoop

OH my Linux! 😂 Guys… Linux is so messy — ever since I started using it, it’s been driving me crazy. One minute I feel like I’m in a movie, the next minute I’m fighting for my life in the terminal 😭 Like why do I have to type 10 commands just to fix one tiny thing?? 💀 But also… I can’t deny it… there’s something cool about it. Sitting in the terminal feels powerful, like I control the whole system with just a few commands. No unnecessary stuff, just me and the machine. Then suddenly — BOOM — one small typo and everything collapses. Now I’m googling errors that look like ancient spells 🧙‍♂️ Linux really said: “Become a genius… or suffer trying.” Still… I kinda love it 😅 @From_Code_to_Creation

Devs ! You need to hear this. "Opportunities don’t find the best — they find the visible." And that’s where most developers get it wrong. There are so many developers with insane talent and skills — but they stay invisible. They spend months… even years… preparing. Learning in silence. Waiting until they feel ready. Meanwhile? Some junior developers with basic skills are showing up, sharing their work, building in public, talking to businesses… And guess what? Opportunities find them. So, don’t trap yourself in endless preparation. Coz If you can build & solve a problem - then you're ready… Go out and market your skills. Every senior developer you admire today - They didn’t wait. They applied early. They failed. They learned on the job. And here’s the reality: If you don’t share your work, if you don’t build a portfolio and apply for jobs, if you don’t talk to businesses… How in the world will people know you can build? Yes — it’s uncomfortable for many of you. But if having uncomfortable conversations feels hard… the results of avoiding them are much worse. So do the uncomfortable: Talk to businesses. Apply for jobs consistently. Talk to people in the industry. Network more. And remember: "Your network is part of your net worth." . . . Share this with other fellow devs... coz they need to hear this ! @wadehlife

🚨 New AI Scam Alert – This Could Happen to Anyone. There is a dangerous new scam using artificial intelligence that everyone needs to know about. Scammers are now using AI tools to clone a person’s voice—even a child’s voice—from short videos posted online. With just a few seconds of audio, they can create a fake call that sounds 100% real. ⚠️ Real Case: A mother in the United States received a terrifying phone call. She heard what sounded exactly like her daughter crying and begging for help. A man then claimed he had kidnapped her and demanded money. But the truth? Her daughter was completely safe. The voice was generated using AI technology similar to tools from companies like ElevenLabs. This type of crime is now known as a “virtual kidnapping scam.” 💡 How the scam works: • They collect voice clips from social media • Use AI to clone the voice • Call family members pretending there is an emergency • Pressure you to send money quickly 🛡️ How to protect yourself: ✔ Always verify by calling the person directly ✔ Create a secret family “safe word” ✔ Never send money based on a phone call alone ✔ Be careful what you share online 📢 Stay alert. Technology is powerful—but in the wrong hands, it can be dangerous. Share this to protect others. @From_Code_to_Creation

The Future in Sight: What Smart Glasses Can Do 👓 Smart glasses are moving AI from our pockets to our field of vision. Instead of looking down at a screen, these devices allow us to interact with the world in a whole new way. 🌍 Here is what they make possible: • Real-time Translation: Seeing subtitles in your lens as someone speaks a foreign language. 🗣️ • Instant Information: Identifying landmarks, plants, or products just by looking at them. 🔍 • Hands-free Navigation: Following digital arrows overlaid directly onto the street in front of you. 📍 • Contextual Help: Viewing repair manuals or recipes while keeping your hands free for the task. 🛠️ At the Abyssinian Alliance, our team of 9 is inspired by technology that feels like a natural extension of ourselves. As our specialized wings prepare to start our new project build in the coming weeks, we are focused on that same goal: making complex data simple and useful. 🚀 #AbyssinianAlliance #SmartGlasses #AITrends #Innovation #Team9 #TheBuildIsComing

💔 It’s not me, Windows, it’s you. > We’ve had some good times, but I can’t keep living like this. Today, my PC decided to go into a "deep meditative state" (a 2-hour CHKDSK scan) after another Blue Screen of Death. I’ve decided to stop being a victim of the "Unexpected Store Exception." I am officially removing Windows and moving to Linux. 🐧 Wish me luck on the other side. No more blue screens, just terminal screens from now on! GoodbyeWindows😢😢

This could be a life-changing opportunity for the right person. OpenAI has launched a Safety Fellowship paying $3,850/week for researchers in AI safety and governance. Deadline: May 3, 2026 Details: https://openai.com/index/introducing-openai-safety-fellowship/ Feel free to share with someone who might benefit.

For the next few months, you need to lock in. No excuses. No distractions. Just focus. It’s not about having time — it’s about making time. Every hour you waste now is something you’ll wish you had later. So choose discipline over regret. You didn’t come this far just to fail now. Those late nights, that effort, that consistency — that’s what builds your future. Small progress every day might not look like much, but it adds up. While others are wasting time, this is your chance to work in silence and improve yourself. Because at the end of the day, nobody cares until you win. Right now is your time to study, to grow, and to push yourself harder than ever. One month of real focus can change everything. @From_Code_to_Creation
