✨Today, 6 August, the Starlight Set Volleyball Project successfully held its girls’ volleyball competition in Angren, Tashkent Region. 🏐✨ 🩷Seeing so many talented young girls come together,challenge themselves, and encourage one another reminds us why initiatives like Starlight Set Volleyball are so important. We are proud to create opportunities that empower young women through sport and build a stronger, more connected community. We had 8 teams! ⭐️A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Iskandar Mengliyev, whose support was invaluable in making this event possible. We sincerely appreciate his help in organizing the competition and generously agreeing to serve as our judge. 🏐 Kim Yeon-koung — Queen of Asian Volleyball Kim Yeon-koung is one of the most successful and respected volleyball players in the world. Born on February 26, 1988, in South Korea, she became famous for her powerful attacks, strong leadership, and incredible performances on the court. She started her professional career with Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders in 2005 and immediately won Rookie of the Year and League MVP awards. Later, she played in Japan, Turkey, and China, becoming internationally famous during her time with Fenerbahçe SK. At the 2012 Olympics, Kim helped South Korea reach fourth place and gained worldwide recognition. Female school students are invited to participate in the tournament. Zhu Ting, she was born in China’s Henan province, is one of the most successful and admired female volleyball players in the world. She is known for her incredible power and leadership, and she was inspired a loot of young female players from all around the world. Zhu first gained the attention of people, when she won a gold medal for China at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where she got the nomination of the Most Valuable Player. Her outstanding skills helped her team win in both national and international tournaments. Later, she continued her career in Europe, playing for the Turkish club, where she also won a lot of titles and was once again awarded as MVP. The thing what makes her really special is not just her strength and achievements, but her ambition and hard work. Despite injures, stress, or challenges, she came back even stronger.
