What is Yandere❔ A Yandere is a character whose love or attachment becomes extremely intense and obsessive. They may be sweet, caring, and affectionate at first, but their strong attachment can turn into possessiveness or jealousy. In darker stories, this obsession can lead them to behave in dangerous or extreme ways. The important part of the archetype is not simply being "crazy," but having an intense, often unhealthy fixation on someone they love.
