One Spicy Raccoon, Zero Thank You Notes 🦝 Happy International Raccoon Appreciation Day! We certainly appreciate our Animal Control Officers and their efforts to keep our feisty, furry friends out of trouble. Animal Control Officer Floyd found a raccoon tangled in wire in a wetland area just off the Dutch Creek Trail. Officer Floyd cut the wire to free him, but this little guy had plenty to say about the process. Thanks to Officer Floyd for her bravery and compassion while helping this frightened little firecracker. She knew that behind all that spice was an animal who needed help, and she stepped up.
