Focus on something, btw even when you apply jobs they see if you go here and there and they don't like it, they want an expert in something, i have 4 different cvs lol, for each things i worked on, so focus on something then the rest you will do it after that

I do have 4 years experience, the job i am working on needed 7 years, but I showed them i am capable to do it and i am eager to learn new things, so if you can show that and work on pretty cool projects to standout even a year or 2 is enough

As i said it really doesn't matter, what matters is your skill, the path you want to take and having time with yourself to actually really learn them

I think i would be biased on this, but one advice is learn what you love, i love ml and i love working on it

Yep, i have grown in ways i didn't think was possible

Learn to breath, when something happens, try to control yourself from doing a single action, give yourself 10 - 20 minutes , leave the place then due time you would be great at it. Listen to understand, not to answer. Most of us are just waiting for our turn to talk. Ask one more question before giving your opinion. And name what you feel, not just I'm mad, once you name it, it will have less control over you

Yk what i usually do, I have one day a week I don't use a single AI tool, i still do some DSA, I apply to a lot of foreign jobs where they are too technical so i need to keep up and having that day helps me, it will ground me and kind of refreshes my memory, tbh if you're good at coding before this AI era came its easy to get back on track and don't have an imposter syndrome

Well to tell you the truth, unless you stand out, ifs becoming too saturated, maybe due time new dimensions will be created but to be only a software engineer isn't going to cut it, either you need to build awesome products, keep up and learn a lot of things or its going to be hard, maybe in Ethiopia it will take time in comparison with other countries but still

You can still be an ML Engineer, google collab is pretty good, yk my previous pc was a macbook 2006 with Linux lint installed on it, literally takes time for me to see my mouse movement 😭 but I learned using that and I am sure you can do it too
