I started with a random squiggle and got to this I should have taken a picture of the squiggle 🤦‍♂️ Any who this is me essentially creating my own inspiration for creature design Using Pinterest and such isn't always practical I'll definitely try this more (quite exciting really....)

The mockap was made with cellulose paper and with acrylic paint finish ig And I used a sort of manufactured wood for the scrapping part (I'm not sure what kind of wood to call it, it was weird) I painted it brown to make it look more organic and added some varnish on it

There are some slight differences between the digital 3d the mockap and the illustrations it kinda does bug me but welp it is what it is.....

So, furniture design class final display went well My project was a specialized furniture for enset decortication This is a furniture design project not a product design project so the entire idea was not to create something that increases the production of kocho or turn it into some sort of mass production system rather it was meant to create a better kocho extraction process for the women engaged in scrapping enset for kocho To the best of my abilities I went through a lot of research on the extraction of kocho by scrapping enset and including the different techniques, the tools they use and the over all process as well The project would probably have turned out better if I had the opportunity to engage in the enset decortication myself in the intended environment but more or less this was my attempt at creating a furniture design that respects the traditional practices and processes Feel free to give your comments and suggestions as well as any inquiries I guess.....

I went on a rant talking about what I took away from reading the comic in my Instagram story I don't think I went deep enough with my explanation but well I shouldn't spoil it or influence U guys sijemerim if U still haven't gone there So well open at Ur own discretion

This was a really cool experience I was not expecting something like this when I went to the exhibition

People of impeccable taste..... I have officially achieved burnout 😭 2025 was a good year for me obviously but being very active with art and stuff comes at a cost and well that is called mental exhaustion (essentially burn out) There is a lot of stuff I have been working on that U guys haven't seen (yet👀) next year will be even more crazy somehow but for quite a few I'm tapping out There will be a Christmas related post but don't expect much after that for a bit at least till I recover I will still have finals which does still mean more drawing for me😭 and a job 😭😭 But other than that I'll keep it minimal For fellow artists take care of Ur self sometimes not creating at all can be productive also so.... ( The image is of a robot drawing I attempted when I was in grade 12 that was the day I decided that I need to learn how to draw mecha😅)

I like using pen cause it makes you decisive since U can't really erase And U will have to think very hard about every line U put in, U would have to develop Ur sense of proportion and Ur line confidence in order to do ink pen sketches so I highly recommend for anyone who feels like they lack in those departments
