Новости для экспедиции «Легенды Арктики 2026» хорошие! 🎉 Общий фон ледовой обстановки в арктических морях России в апреле–августе — благоприятный или близкий к норме, с тенденцией к улучшению. Неблагоприятных сценариев на первую половину навигации не ожидается. ✅ ⛵ Что это значит для маршрута «Апостола Андрея»: 🌊 Баренцево море к 1 июля будет чистым. Выход из Архангельска и переход — без проблем. ❄️ Карское море — фон близок к норме с тенденцией к благоприятному. Лёд у Новой Земли ниже нормы на 6–10%, у Северной Земли — на 10–14%. 🏝 Подходы к островам (IOTA EU-160, AS-055, AS-057, AS-050) станут реальными во второй половине июля, когда откроется юго-западный сектор. ⚠️ В начале июля при входе через южные проливы возможен остаточный дрейфующий лёд — это норма даже в благоприятный год. 📡 Перед выходом и в пути будем отслеживать оперативные ледовые карты ААНИИ и спутник. 🧭 Курс на Арктику! 73! #ЛегендыАрктики2026 #RT9K #DXpedition #Арктика #IOTA 🇬🇧 English version 🧊 July 2026 ice forecast — the Kara Sea is ready for us The latest AANII long-range forecast (1 April 2026) is in, and it’s good news for the Arctic’s Legends 2026 expedition! 🎉 The overall ice background across the Russian Arctic seas in April–August will be favourable or close to average, trending toward improvement. No adverse scenarios are expected for the first half of the navigation season. ✅ ⛵ What it means for the route of S/Y “Apostol Andrey”: 🌊 Barents Sea will be fully clear by 1 July. Departure from Arkhangelsk and the passage — no issues. ❄️ Kara Sea — close to average, trending favourable. Ice near Novaya Zemlya is 6–10% below normal; near Severnaya Zemlya 10–14% below. 🏝 Island approaches (IOTA EU-160, AS-055, AS-057, AS-050) become realistic in the second half of July, once the south-western sector opens up. ⚠️ In early July, entering via the southern straits may still bring residual drift ice — normal even in a favourable year. 📡 We’ll track AANII operational ice charts and satellite imagery before and during the passage. 🧭 Heading north! 73! #ArcticLegends2026 #RT9K #DXpedition #Arctic #IOTA

Border Crossing Permits Approved by Russian Border Service — Documents to Arrive by Mail We are pleased to announce that our submitted documents have been reviewed by the Russian Border Service. The review was completed successfully with no remarks or objections raised against any of the materials provided. Following the review, the Border Service has made an official decision to issue the border crossing permits for our expedition. The physical permit documents will be dispatched by post and are expected to arrive within 15 days. "This is great news for the whole team — official approval from the Russian Border Service means we are one major step closer to departure." Once the permits are received, we will confirm the final timeline and share further details about the expedition's schedule. We thank the Russian Border Service for the prompt and thorough review of our application.

This marks a key administrative milestone in the preparation of our upcoming expedition. The submission includes all necessary application forms, identification materials, and supporting documentation as required by the border authorities. Our team will now await official review and approval from the relevant government agencies.
