It’s been a long time since I drew. There’s a part of me that has wanted to be an artist since I was a child. Maybe one day I’ll get back to drawing. For now, I just want this artwork to live here on my channel I made it about a year ago.

Sometimes when I read or hear ancient stories, they don’t feel real to me. They feel like an animation movie… Not because I think they’re a joke or untrue but because I wasn’t there. I don’t share that generation’s world, fears, language, or daily life. With no photos, no videos, no familiar settings, my brain fills the gaps with imagination. Symbols become scenes. History turns cinematic. I’m realizing this doesn’t mean disbelief. It just means distance. Ancient stories weren’t written to feel modern or realistic they were written to carry meaning, values, and truth across time. Maybe the problem isn’t that they feel unreal. Maybe it’s that we’re trying to read ancient worlds with modern eyes. And maybe that’s okay.

Been working on this project off and on for the last month, for a rust hackathon. [Ersha OS]

I just saw the Google Meet smart reply update, and it’s actually a really good update.The chat experience feels much richer now you can attach files, send GIFs, use emojis, and interact more naturally during meetings

When I do frontend, I design while coding. For colors, I usually stick to one or two colors. To get colors that go well with the primary color, I use this tool Light mode Tint & Shade Generator Sharing it here in case someone needs it 🙌

I don’t know why Habesha people gatekeep everything and hate group work 😅 Anyway, I really encourage doing things together motivating each other and sharing what we’re working on with friends. Don’t waste your time like me 😭 Special characters matter: if your DB password contains @, encode it or change it — it will break your connection string. If you’re using an ORM (like Prisma), this error will waste hours. This is my third time hitting it… and I still forget. My God. Tiny tip (so future-you doesn’t suffer): @ → %40 : → %3A / → %2F

If you want to try a new framework, go to the documentation. Read it. Watch their videos. AI can ruin your day I promise you. AI often gives confident but wrong answers, especially for new frameworks. From my worst experience.

I hope this design never finds its way to me as a frontend dev 😭😂 jk
