And before you blame the company: breakers exist to protect your appliances and the grid itself. If a tree falls on a line or there's an overvoltage issue, that breaker trips. It's not like anyone wants that, it's preventing a short circuit that would fry your fridge, your laptop,and potentially fry a human too

First principle: No electric utility just cuts off power randomly. It's illegal, it causes harm, and it costs them massive money in energy loss. So if your power's out, something actually triggered it.
