Today I got a Google Meet link that said “A2SV closing ceremony,” and I thought that was odd. I haven’t been a student in over a year, so it caught me off guard. Long story short, A2SV seems to be closing for good, and I wanted to say thank you. Before A2SV, I knew no one on campus. It was the first time I was truly thrust into an environment where I had to make my brain work. It was like grade 7 when you learn physics for the first time and suddenly your brain is having all these “aha” moments. I met a lot of cool people, people who redefined the word “genius.” People who made me laugh and helped me actually enjoy learning. I don’t think I ever enjoyed learning as much as I did that one year. And I think enjoying learning something is one of the greatest joys in life, right up there with 100 Mbps connection and strawberry ice cream on a summer evening. Sayonara A2SV 🍾
