the interesting thing is that they are all actual princesses in the comics. talia al ghul

talia is an aristocrat and the sole heir to ra’s al ghul’s league of assassins. she’s often called the daughter of the demon’s head and the second eye, which is the league’s equivalent of a princess.

diana prince / wonder woman

wonder woman is an amazon-olympian demigod, born to queen hippolyta of themyscira and zeus, the ruler of mount olympus. because of her heritage, she is most commonly known as the princess of themyscira.

natalia romanova / black widow

the black widow is descended from the house of romanov, the former imperial family and czars of russia. she is the first and only child of anastasia nikolaevna, the last sovereign of imperial russia, making her the heir to the monarchy and a potential claimant to the throne. although this storyline was never expanded upon and the czars no longer ruled russia, she is still stated to be the tsarevna (princess) of russia.
