Question: If a person performs ablution (wudu) with the intention of praying Maghrib, is it permissible for them to pray Isha with the same ablution?
Answer: Yes, according to the more correct opinion of the scholars, because what matters is the presence of a valid shar’i ablution, and it is not necessary to specify the intended act for it. If one does specify it, it does not harm.
So if a person performs ablution to read from the Mushaf, to pray, to perform tawaf, or to pray a subsequent prayer, it is valid as long as the ablution has not been invalidated. This is the more correct opinion among the scholars.

The Secret to Blessings and Productivity: Starting Your Day with the Qur’an!

The Surooris everywhere, their throats are only choked by the Salafis who follow the methodology of the Salaf, clinging to the foundations of the Sunnah and its people. You will always find their criticism directed towards them, and if a Salafi is mentioned in front of one of them, you will find harshness and violent attacks against him. However, if someone from any other group claiming to belong to Islam is mentioned, you will find leniency and compromise, and the worst they show towards him is silence.
Do you know why? Because it is the Salafis who stand in the way of their schemes to hijack the religion of the people and drain their wealth. The only ones who spoil this for them are the Salafis.
O Allah, increase the Salafis in strength in the truth, and increase the frustration and humiliation of the stubborn ones among the Ikhwan and the Sururis. Guide those among them who seek the truth, and accept the repentance of those who repent.

The Virtues of Sending Blessings Upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday
The Virtue of Sending Blessings on Friday: A Reminder for the Virtuous to Increase Their Blessings Upon the Prophet ﷺ
Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله
Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli حفظه الله
I do not understand how those burdened with worries neglect abundant salah (prayers of peace and blessings) upon the Prophet ﷺ. O you who are distressed, no matter what your concern is, increase in sending salah upon the Prophet ﷺ, and your worry will be relieved.
It is narrated from Ubayy ibn Ka‘b (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, I frequently send salah upon you. How much of my supplication should I dedicate to you?” He replied, “As much as you wish.” I said, “A quarter?” He replied, “As much as you wish, but if you increase, it is better for you.” I said, “A half?” He replied, “As much as you wish, but if you increase, it is better for you.” I said, “Two-thirds?” He replied, “As much as you wish, but if you increase, it is better for you.” I said, “Shall I dedicate all of my supplication to you?” He replied, “If you do so, your worries will be relieved, and your sins will be forgiven.”
It is also narrated from Hibban ibn Munqidh (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said: “O Messenger of Allah, shall I dedicate a third of my supplication to you?” He replied, “Yes, if you wish.” The man said: “Two-thirds?” He replied, “Yes.” The man said: “Shall I dedicate all of my supplication to you?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, “If you do so, Allah will suffice you concerning your worries about this world and the Hereafter.”
The meaning of "my supplication" here refers to du‘a (invocation). This does not mean that the one burdened with worries abandons du‘a entirely, but rather that sometimes they make all their du‘a salah upon the Prophet ﷺ.

Two Great Matters: The Virtue of Making Du’a for Someone Behind Their Back
Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhyali حفظه الله
Oh servant of Allah, oh servant of Allah. Suppose you did what you did in this world of things that Allah does not like.
By Allah, the happiness you think you find in this world is not worth a dip in Hell. And suppose you were in hardship doing good deeds in this world, by Allah, a dip in Paradise will make you forget all of that.

There is no doubt that adhering to the obligatory duties and abandoning sins is a cause for the firm establishment of knowledge after acquiring it. Therefore, when Imam Al-Shafi’i complained to Waki’ about his poor memory, though poor memory is far from him, for he was among the most proficient in memorisation, yet he saw himself as having poor memory, he would belittle himself. He complained to Waki’ about his poor memory, and Waki’ advised him to abandon sins. He then composed the following verses:
“I complained to Waki’ about my poor memory,
So he advised me to abandon sins,
And he informed me that knowledge is light,
And the light of Allah is not given to a sinner.”
In another narration:
“And he said: ‘Know that knowledge is light,
And the light of Allah is not granted to a sinner.’”
So it is essential, O beloved ones, that we purify ourselves from disobedience to Allah if we want Allah, the Exalted and Glorified, to grant us success in seeking knowledge, for Allah, the Exalted and Glorified, to make the paths of knowledge easy for us, and for Allah, the Exalted and Glorified, to establish knowledge in our hearts.

Our healing is in the Quran
Glory be to Allah. A Muslim patient suffered a stroke that affected his speech. He traveled to America for treatment and began physical therapy. His doctor, who was Jewish, asked him if he was Muslim. When the patient replied yes, the doctor advised him to read the Quran, saying it would restore his speech. The patient recounts, "I began to read the Quran consistently, and now I speak better than I did before the stroke."

O monotheist, advice from someone who loves you: Be diligent not to let a day pass without reading a portion of the Quran and praying Witr at night, from this moment until you die.
