Shaykh Sulayman ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: واللهِ إنَّ المرأة إذا غطت وجهها، امتلأ قلبها بالحياء؛ • By Allah, when a woman covers her face, her heart fills with modesty; وينزل الله في قلبها من السعادة والطمأنينة ما الله به عليم. • And Allah places in her heart of happiness and tranquility that which only Allah knows. https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli may preserve him said: الخير كل الخير والفلاح في الدنيا والفوز في الآخرة أن تعرف أن الخير كله فيما كان عليه السلف، • “Goodness, all of goodness, and success in this world, and triumph in the Hereafter, is that you know that all of goodness is in what the Pious Predecessors were upon.” وأن تعرف ما كان عليه السلف، • “And that you know what the Pious Predecessors were upon.” وأن تثبت على ما كان عليه السلف، • “And that you remain firm upon what the Pious Predecessors were upon.” وأن تلزم مصطلحات السلف، • “And that you adhere to the terminology and concepts of the Pious Predecessors.” وأن تقرب لأهل زمانك علم السلف، • “And that you bring to the people of your era the knowledge of the Pious Predecessors.” • “And that you know who contradicts what the Pious Predecessors were upon in your era from sects who call themselves groups and individuals [named after individuals or ideologies].” https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

Shaykh Sulayman ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: • Many questions have reached me regarding what is better in fasting the six days of Shawwāl: should they be consecutive or separated? And when should one begin? • The answer is: it is permissible to fast them consecutively, and it is also permissible to fast them separately. And it is permissible to begin from the second day of Shawwāl or later, as long as six days remain from the month. • What is better is to fast them consecutively, as that is hastening to goodness and racing toward it, and a person does not know what may come up. • As for what is better in beginning them: if there is a benefit in delaying them until people have finished the customary days of Eid—such as participating with family, pleasing their hearts, and not putting people in hardship—then that is better. • But if there is no benefit that outweighs delaying them, then hastening to fast them at the earliest possible time is better. • And the Muslim should beware of procrastination. https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli

The Prophet’s Declaration of Love for A'ishah: Don’t Withhold Love — Your Wife Needs to Hear It! Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli

Shaykh Sulayman ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said: أخي المؤمن أختي المؤمنة: • My believing brother, my believing sister: اجتهد أن تكون في بقية أشهر السنة مقاربا لحالك في شهر رمضان، وألا تترك خيرا عملته وألا تعود إلى شر تركته، • Strive to be in the rest of the months of the year close to your state during Ramadan, and do not abandon a good deed you did, nor return to an evil you left. • For the matter is as it was said: “Whoever makes his life like Ramadan, Allah will make his Hereafter like Eid.” قال ربنا تعالى: ﴿وَٱعۡبُدۡ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَكَ ٱلۡيَقِينُ﴾ • Our Lord, exalted be He, said: “And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (i.e. death).” [al-Hijr 15:99] وقال سبحانه: ﴿وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ﴾ • And He, the Most High, said: “And die not except in a state of Islam (as Muslims).” [Āli ‘Imrān 3:102] وقال نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم: “لا تكن مثل فلان كان يقوم الليل ثم ترك قيام الليل” • And our Prophet ﷺ said: “Do not be like so-and-so who used to pray at night then left praying at night.” • And he ﷺ informed us that the most beloved deeds to Allah are those done consistently, even if they are few. • A believing man and woman remain upon good so long as they hold themselves to striving in pursuit of virtues, and view their deeds with an eye of deficiency and falling short. • And always keep your heart fearful that your righteous deeds may not be accepted and that you may be held to account for your sins. So follow a good deed with another—it will increase you in iman and closeness to Allah. And follow a bad deed with a good one—it will erase it. https://t.me/PearlsofRuhayli
