We have a completely independent X11 renderer built entirely in C++, and we finished it a long time ago: https://github.com/gamesir123/xserver-gf/tree/main/core/vulkan. The reason we switched to Vulkan this time is purely for our upcoming plan to support Reshade. Before this, our devs didn't even know anything about Winlator or Ludashi's Vulkan stuff.
Also, you're welcome to decompile our released APK, you'll see we've never had any of that dirty Java stuff in there.
