Idiocracy Mode Rework & Stability Hotfix
→ Update #2 2o26.07-06
→ Reworked:
→ Idiocracy Mode (Smart-Swap): Completely rewrote the mode's logic. Clicking an outer player no longer reloads the entire grid.
→ Instead, the clicked channel intelligently swaps with the center, and only the freed outer slot loads a new random channel.
→ The other 9 players continue running completely uninterrupted, drastically reducing server requests and eliminating flickering.
→ Intuitive Exit: Clicking the large center player now automatically closes the mode.
→ This seamlessly transitions that specific channel straight into the main player.
→ Fixed:
→ System Freeze on Exit Resolved: Closing the Idiocracy Mode (via click, X, or ESC) previously caused the main stream to freeze because the Xtream server blocked the 11 open connections.
→ The mode now actively kills all instances, hard-resets the main player, and waits 800ms to allow the server to cleanly close connections before rebuilding the main stream.
→ Event Listeners Optimized: Updated the keydown listener (as a one-liner) to flawlessly handle the new `closeIdio()` logic.
→ This successfully blocks accidental background channel changes while the mode is active. | 1 |
