The trial for 3
Sometimes I wonder what it would feel like
if a path were carved for three.
Maybe then I wouldn’t trail behind,
watching the two I call friends
leave impressions in the dirt just out of my reach.
How does loneliness reach through a crowd?
As my own thoughts grow loud,
their laughter turns to waves—
a blur of sound rushing past me.
Maybe I was never taught
To hold on to warmth
Maybe I’ve spent so long expecting the fire to burn
that I pull back before it ever has the chance to thaw me.
I push away open hands.
I bolt the doors before they can swing shut,
and convince my shadow I never needed anyone at all.
My real fear isn't being alone.
It’s that one day,
when I finally drop my guard,
when I finally believe I am worth staying for—
I will be given a reason to remember
why I built these walls.

being friends with people who can’t make up their mind about you and won’t tell you face to face what problems they have with you hurts so bad 😶🌫️ one moment you’re joking around with me and then a few hours later, you’re being dry and annoyed with me? it really makes me feel like i’m some desperate loyal dog begging at your feet for scraps of approval and if i speak up about my feelings, you just end up ranting about me to others, and then the cycle repeats be it me or someone else later on

lowkey i hate when ppl stand right infront of the platform door when the train is arriving, like DUDE whats the rush? js to get seats?? then others no need alight isit? and i'm seeing more youngsters all js push themselves onto the train when ppl still HALFWAY alighting....
also another thing, i dun get why ppl run for the train when it just arrived at the station lol... and when they board the train doesn't even depart in the next 2 mins LMAO (jurong east reference)
when i go japan even if its bloody crowded you will see ppl let others alight first brooo why can't we do THAT
can we lowk have some public transport etiquette...lowk i go overseas compared to sg i feel damn embarrassed cuz we all dh any etiquette when taking public transport lol.
