I had one student with wonderful personality who used to read numerous self-develop, motivational books. However, I can't remember she ever did her homework 💯 Reminder: motivation is addiction just like drug. The more you increase its dose, the less it affects. So, do what you have to do rather than squandering your time watching Andrew Tate's bullshit💩 motivational videos

Agree✅ But most self-develop books are just like motivational videos. They are not effective in 95% cases. Imagine: it says give up smoking or sugar, would you do that.

Motivational videos are not effective, if you don't have DISCIPLINE and clear goal to reach. Of course after watching them, you might be inspired and do something for 5 minutes, but after that time, it fades and you will get back to your life. To reach something you should face the reality, have exact and clear goal, put effort, combine smart and hard work with DISCIPLINE. Whether motivated or not, consistent desire, passion, and determination are what drive progress and results. On the other hand, self-development books can be useful, because they help to broaden your thoughts and look at life from different perspective. However, you shouldn't only rely on them. Anyways, that's just my thoughts. I would love too hear other perspectives  too :)😅
