From what we’ve noticed on Upwork, there are 3 reasons we’re careful with these jobs:
1. Fake / No-Hire Jobs
Some posts look real but never hire anyone. They can waste your time and Connects.
2. Real Job, But They Prefer Their Own Network
Some clients already have freelancers from their own country and rarely hire from outside.
3. Real Job, But Very Low Budget
Huge project + extremely low budget = They may be looking to outsource the work as cheaply as possible.
👉 Our advice: Don’t apply blindly. Check the client’s hiring history, budget, previous hires, and requirements before spending your Connects.
