Democrats want to block bill that would require citizenship verification at the polls — FOX 📍Republicans are pushing for the Save America's Voters Act (SAVE), which would require states to verify voters' citizenship. Democrats, in turn, want to prevent the initiative from passing. 📍Democratic leaders in the House of Representatives (e.g., Katherine Clark) are urging colleagues to vote against it. In their view, the law would place an "extraordinary burden on countless Americans." 📍Democrats say there is already a law in place that prohibits non-citizens from voting. They believe Republicans want to question the credibility of American elections. 📍Republicans, on the other hand, are convinced that this law is necessary. The open borders policy, they believe, creates risks where illegal migrants can easily vote in elections. INSIDER USA 👉🏼 Subscribe
