💸 Apple plans to produce AirPods with in-built cameras by 2026 ・Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared an update on Project 'B798' – a variation of the AirPods headphones with a built-in camera. The headphones will have an IR camera similar to the Face ID sensor in the iPhone, and this could be used with Apple Vision Pro, among others, to improve the user's tracking in space. ・For example, when a user watches video with the Vision Pro, but listens to audio in AirPods with IR sensors – when turning their head, the audio source will move in the same direction within the space that is projected to them. This would be some new variation of the Spatial Audio feature, at a more advanced level. Also, IR sensors in the headphones could give the functionality of gesture control in the air, the company also has a patent for such a thing. ・The supplier of components for such AirPods is Foxconn, Apple's longtime partner. 🆕 in macOS 15.0 Sequoia beta 2 and iOS/iPadOS 18 beta 2 🎞 Finder: Files and documents that were previously downloaded when viewed in ☁️ iCloud Drive can now be left downloaded on the device by right-clicking on the file or folder. On successful activation, the cloud icon next to the item becomes opaque - this means the file has been downloaded and left on the device. 📁 Files: the exact same option is available on iOS/iPadOS 18. It works similarly: you can specifically set a setting to keep files and documents on your device, regardless of how much memory they take up. 📱 Another new feature in iOS 18 is SharePlay Screensharing 📱 The 9to5Mac publication has shown a video demonstration of the SharePlay feature, which allows you to share and control your screen with another device. The feature so far works on iOS 18 beta 2 and iPadOS 18 beta 2 devices, as well as macOS Sequoia beta 2. 📞 In the screen control mode during a FaceTime conversation, you can interact with your interlocutor's device: swipe your finger or Apple Pencil on the screen, make notes and comments. ⌚ Apple Watch Series X will get a new form factor with a larger display According to Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the tenth series of Apple Watch will be much more "new" than all the last generations introduced. The watch's form factor is expected to be updated with a larger screen due to even thinner bezels and a thinner case. The new dimensions are expected to be: 45mm instead of 41mm and 49mm instead of 45mm. Inside the watch will have even more components made with 3D printing – Apple liked the experience with this technology in  Watch Ultra and they are ready to apply it to all models. BLT will be the main supplier of components made on an industrial 3D printer, this will be a very large scale endeavor for the supplier, involving entire components, not just equipment and manufacturing techniques. The new  Watch Ultra 3 is likely to be technically the same as the current models in the lineup. And a new color, dark titanium, is expected again this time around. @aNews #AppleWatch #rumors

📱 Dimensions of the four models in the iPhone 16 lineup In the picture we can see the height, width and thickness (in red) of the new line up. The dimentions have allegedly been leaked, according to a new post from Majin Bu on 𝕏. New features in macOS 👨‍🏫 Sequoia beta 2 The video presents the long-awaited iPhone Mirroring feature, which finally appeared beta 2 versions of macOS 15 Sequoia and iOS 18. To launch it, you need to pair with iPhone, enter the passcode, give permission and then you can start using iPhone on Mac. You can control your phone with the cursor and keyboard on Mac, display notifications from iPhone, play videos, and open apps from the 📨. But not everything works yet. In the mode, the iPhone Camera doesn't work, it's incompatible with Universal Access modes so far, and there's no option to output audio to external sources from iPhone in Mirroring mode. Also, testers note that there are a lot of bugs and there are issues with the functionality. Moreover, it doesn't work at all in the EU. If you can't wait to try out the new macOS 15 Sequoia, you can update your device now. To do so, simply log in to Apple Developer using your Apple ID, and once logged in, check System Preferences > Genaral > Software Update > Beta Updates on your device.
