Some backstory
Their parents adopted this angel-looking girl, that girl became jealous of them she wanted to be treated like their real daughter. She asked someone to kill them (her bf and bf's friends). She said some guys came to robbed their house (it's just her untrue statement) later she confessed and showed no sympathy with the victims at all

So a cadaver brain vs fresh brain are two VERY different organs.
Cadaver brains are classroom material/ research materials. Meant for handling and dissecting. This means the brain is injected with chemicals to preserve and harden it. Making it feel like a soft rubber. Easy to break with your hands if you could.
Fresh brain. It is what any other adipose tissue is. Fatty gelatinous tissue that has form but ultimately just kinda jiggles around in your hand like a soft/softish jello.
If you wanted to make a brain hard and not inject it with chemicals. Put it in the fridge or freezer for a few hours. Again. Like any fatty tissue it will harden and be able to withstand handling without melting into a globular mess.
