Might be common sense to some of you, might be useful for others. Just yapping as I’m watching the euros

Boiled down, memecoins are just a game of who can sell their bags the best. The goal is to find the biggest group of potential buyers and front running what you think they’ll buy whenever they get into crypto, so I like to think about WHO will buy my bags before sizing into a long term bet. I think the most plausible outcome of this cycle is that zoomers/millennials see the opportunity to make quick money and they’ll be the ones buying our bags. What will they buy? The biggest / cutest animal memes and cultural trends they recognize. Thats why I’m pretty big on all these culture memes Coins like $lockin, $motion, $zoomer, $giga, $aura, etc are super retail and normie friendly. If my thesis plays out, retail will be all over these. Realistically some of my picks aren’t super retail friendly (Joe and Chud for example) but I think there are still a lot of untapped buyers within CT and we can see 10xs or higher from here on those

I do think we get 1 or 2 more legs down on majors then we’ll be bottom (again, hope I’m wrong). Memes are showing great strength which is a good sign, just unsure how sustainable it is in these poor macro conditions. I think bottom for memes might’ve been in when sol hit 115 or whatever, but hoping we’ll get some better buying opportunities on next legs down

Last post for the night, but I think with all that said overall theme of memecoins will be animals + culture coins like Zoomer, MOG, aura, etc Shortlist of coins I like and will bid / add to when the time is right Solana - Zoomer - Chudjak - Aura - Giga - Billy / WIF - Popcat / Michi ETH - MOG - Zyn Base - Floppa - Carlo Little bearish on Base tbh. SOL and ETH have set use cases: - SOL - Low fees, fast TXNs, crypto casino - ETH - Boomer / Whale focused Base seems like it’s trying to find a middle ground between these two, and unsure if that’s even needed. Solana onboarding is fairly easy and there’s enough people using ETH to send something to tens of billions.

emphasis on don't get chopped to death before the super cycle starts already seen a number of people on twitter give back all the profits they made and are back to 0 or completely out of the game. use them as a lesson and don't make the same mistake. this is where the gambling part is important. lots of people are just straight up gambling (PF celeb coins) or are trdaing out of bordem. these are two sure ways to lose long term, dont fall into those habits.

Still aligned with this - didn't deploy stables / or make any long term bids. Seeing a lot more bearish sentiment than we saw on that last dip and lots of great traders all sharing similar sentiment. Seems like most are calling for low 50s or even high 40s for BTC then resuming the bull run in Q4 / Q1 '25. Given all the factors that seems pretty plausible to me (massive sells on the orderbooks, uncertainty in the world / politics, summer, etc.). With that said, I'm still bullish long term and think we'll see a crazy memecoin run whenever BTC resumes its uptrend. I think the current state of society sets us up perfectly for a true memecoin super cycle: - Gambling is on the rise and is only projected to get grow even bigger. The issue with gambling is that almost all forms have a built in house edge and/or are regulated. The only place where you can gamble freely with no restrictions or not be at a disadvantage to the house is memecoins / crypto. - There has been a massive culture shift from the standard 9-5 life to online money - crypto is by far the most lucrative opportunity rn - We already live in a meme/attention economy, memes are a hybrid of this + gambling. Look at memes / trends like Hawk Tuah, Mog, the Kevin James meme, etc. Most of the world doesn't even realize there is a place where you can bet on these and how far they'll go. - Building off the point above, the largest companies in the world (look at Wendys twitter) and even both presidential campaigns are utilizing memes to convey messages. We recently saw the Biden campaign openly try to hire meme creators and the Trump campaign create the Bidenica meme. They realize how powerful memes are and are making them a part of their marketing strategies - can't really get more bullish than the most important people in the world using memes to win over voters. In short, memes, gambling, and online money are at all time highs in popularity; combine all those and you get memecoins. Bullish on memes long term.
