He is only able to accept his frailty under the delusion that should a storm come he will find the strength to survive it. The weak man copes through life. Selfish motives are not enough to endure the hellfire of soul forging. Selfish motives can never motivate an act as selfless as becoming a superhero. "In three years, I will be Y". They always put space between themselves and the outcome. It's all they talk about. You keep telling yourself you'll be rich in X years. You keep telling yourself you will be strong, smart, with a beautiful loyal woman by your side. You don't realize that you only talk about the future to rationalize your brutal laziness of today. Why don't you start focusing on TODAY? What will you accomplish TODAY? What will you get done TODAY? TODAY. Stop talking and thinking about all the cool things you'll be doing in the future. Start talking about what you are going to do TODAY. You won't become remarkable any other way. Your actions today define your future. Talk won't make your dreams real. Only action will.

Only in dark times is your soul malleable enough to truly forge. Dark times leave you disinterested in the external and obsessed with the internal. Coupled with an iron mind you can reform your core. You decide if from the hardship you emerge bitter or better. You decide if you emerge harder to kill. Be grateful for every hardship you have and will go through. They are transformative experiences, Events that are required to propel you to the next level of your own powers. If you're going through dark times, Enjoy it. Be excited.
