Repost from The War Reporter
🇮🇱 — Israel has begun excavation work on moats intended to hold crocodiles around a high-security wing at Ketziot Prison in southern Israel as part of National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's plan to tighten security for 'high-risk' prisoners, despite legal questions and strong objections from environmental and wildlife experts.
The Israeli National Security Ministry has allocated 21 million shekels for the project, covering the construction of the channels as well as the care of the crocodiles that are planned to be placed there.
