btw this thing doesn't work inside herdr if the book is pdf. they tried to fix tmux compatibility but not herdr (bookokrat uses MuPDF to converts PDF pages into images and sends them to the terminal using the Kitty graphics protocol) multiplexer like tmux and herdr disrupts the Kitty graphics escape sequences (there are probably more to that ..) but if the format is epub its mostly normal text rendering + lighter image support so it doesn't depend as much on Kitty graphics means it works inside herdr or tmux (thank you for reading this rant )
