২০২৪ সালের ২৩ সেপ্টেম্বর দিবাগত রাতে (২৪ সেপ্টেম্বর ভোররাত) কক্সবাজারের চকরিয়া উপজেলার ডুলাহাজারা ইউনিয়নের পূর্ব মাইজপাড়া এলাকায় যৌথবাহিনীর একটি ডাকাত ও সন্ত্রাসবিরোধী অভিযানের নেতৃত্ব দিচ্ছিলেন লেফটেন্যান্ট তানজিম। সাধারণ মানুষের জীবন ও সম্পদ রক্ষা করতে গিয়ে তিনি বীরদর্পে একাই একাধিক ডাকাতকে পরাস্ত করার চেষ্টা করেন। এ সময় সন্ত্রাসীদের নির্মম ছুরিকাঘাতে গুরুতর আহত হন এবং অতিরিক্ত রক্তক্ষরণের কারণে পরবর্তীতে শাহাদাত বরণ করেন।
দেশের জন্য এই অসামান্য সাহসিকতা ও বীরত্বের স্বীকৃতিস্বরূপ বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনী তাঁকে মরণোত্তর সেনাবাহিনী পদক (এসবিপি)-এ ভূষিত করে।

The World Economy Is Becoming Wary of the U.S.
America's standing as the guarantor of global economic stability is looking shakier by the day, as the Trump administration piles on debt and tightens sanctions.
The U.S. national debt has blown past $40 trillion, and it's growing by roughly $85,112 every second. That comes out to about $297,500 in debt for every American household.
The average interest rate on marketable debt has climbed to 3.475%, up from 1.458% just five years ago. Interest payments are now the second-largest item in the federal budget, surpassing even Medicare.
At the same time, Congress passed its largest-ever sanctions package against Russia — one that allows tariffs of up to 100% on buyers of Russian energy, including China and India. The Kremlin has already called the measures "unfriendly" and said they will make a peaceful settlement harder to reach.
