On Nakba Day we join Palestinians around the world in uplifting our people’s resistance to genocide, zionism and settler colonialism since 1948. The Nakba, commemorated on May 15th of every year is ongoing to this day, as millions of Palestinians continue to be starved in Gaza, while thousands more are massacred and displaced from Gaza to the West Bank in “israel’s” ongoing genocide funded and carried out with the United States.

| 17 | The Zionist entity’s 1967 occupation of Al-Quds, is part of the wider occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. For Palestinians, it is another reminder that the Nakba did not end in 1948. From the ethnic cleansing and mass displacement of our people, to the occupation of Al-Quds, to the siege and genocide in Gaza, zionism has always relied on the same project, land theft, displacement, occupation, and the attempt to erase Palestinian life and resistance.
As Palestinians in exile, and people of conscious it is our duty to respond in defense of Al-Aqsa and in defense of Palestine.
So today, we return to the streets of New York.
For Gaza.
For Al-Quds.
For our return to our land, from the river to the sea.

Yesterday, on so called “Jerusalem Day,” zionist settlers and officials stormed Al-Aqsa and the Old City of occupied Al-Quds, raised the occupation flag, and marched through the streets chanting “death to Arabs.”
Palestinian worshippers were restricted from entering starting at Fajr. Men under 60 and women under 50 were blocked, worshippers were assaulted at the gates, and Palestinian shops in the Old City were forced to close to make way for the settler storming and flag march.

What we are witnessing is not new, it is the same settler colonial violence carried out by the zionist entity and backed by the US. As Nerdeen Kiswani said: “Palestine is not an anomaly, it is a litmus test, a moral compass, and what is allowed to happen in Gaza will not stop there.”
Tomorrow we flood NYC to demand an end to the siege, blockade, and genocide. No business as usual while our people are massacred.
We won’t stop until Palestine is free within our lifetime. 🇵🇸
