🔥A BAND 999999 ESSAY🔥
Effective money management plays an instrumental role in terms of circumventing monetary constraints, achieving and maintaining financial freedom, and effecting meaningful social contributions. For this reason, many educationalists advocate for the inclusion of financial education in school curricula as a compulsory subject to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of today's financially challenging world. Despite certain counter-arguments to this proposal, I personally subscribe to it.
Opponents of financial education in the school curriculum cite various reasons for their stance. They point to the immense academic pressures schoolchildren already face, from high academic expectations and performance standards to the heavy workloads of assignments. Introducing financial education as a mandatory component of the school program might exacerbate these pressures, leading to heightened stress levels and negative impacts on students' overall health and academic performance. In today's educational landscape where students are already struggling with mental health issues and academic challenges, it seems logical to question the addition of financial education.
However, I contend that the incorporation of financial education into the school curriculum does more good than harm to both individuals and society as a whole. On an individual level, Students who receive early exposure to financial concepts are more likely to develop sound money management skills that allow them to make well-informed decisions when it comes to spending, saving, and investing. This, in turn, can result in greater financial stability, which means fewer budgetary concerns and a higher standard of living. On a societal scale, a financially savvy population can contribute to a reduction in poverty rates and associated social issues such as crime and corruption.
In conclusion, although there are valid concerns regarding the potential impact of introducing financial education into school curricula, the long-term benefits of equipping children with financial literacy skills far outweigh any short-term challenges. By preparing children for the financial realities they will face in adulthood, we not only empower them to make sound financial decisions but also foster an economically stable and prosperous society.

🔥A BAND 9999999 ESSAY🔥
In today’s media landscape, it has become increasingly common for media outlets to pay disproportionate attention to criminal cases, environmental calamities, international conflicts, and terrorist attacks compared to positive developments and uplifting narratives. Despite the certain benefits associated with this ongoing trend, I subscribe to the idea that it is generally a concerning development.
Proponents of sensationalized media content cite various reasons for their stance. When individuals are exposed to a diverse range of news about local problems and global emergencies, they can gain a deeper understanding of the potential threats when it comes to criminal activities, health risks, and fluctuations in the fabric of society and politics. A good case in point is the consistent portrayal of health guidelines during the Covid-19 pandemic, which has equipped individuals with the much-needed knowledge about safety procedures, thus reducing the risk of catching the virus. Similarly, reporting on natural disasters and terrorist threats can help prepare communities for potential dangers. Although social media platforms and television news programmes concentrate on a range of problems and emergencies to provoke public reactions and increase their viewership, this course of action can play a crucial role in terms of raising awareness and ensuring optimal safety for society as a whole.
However, I believe that the disproportionate coverage of negative news does more harm than good for both individuals and communities. On an individual level, when people are bombarded with news reports on violent criminal acts, deadly environmental disasters, and never-ending conflicts between countries like Russia and Ukraine, debilitating feelings of insecurity, discomfort, uncertainty, and anxiety may ensue. A by-product of these experiences is a decline in personal contentment and emotional well-being. Take the constant coverage of hostilities between Israel and Palestine in the mainstream media, which has not only driven a wedge between Muslim and Jewish communities but also taken a huge psychological toll on affected populations.
On a societal scale, the impact of this phenomenon is even more pronounced. The more negative news messages individuals receive, the more socially isolated they become. With the excessive portrayal of criminal cases and other social issues comes a sense of fear, which can discourage social interaction and civic engagement. In today’s sedentary world, where technological advancements have already contributed to social detachment and fostered a culture of distrust, the abundance of negative news further isolates individuals and exacerbates social disconnection.
In conclusion, although the media’s focus on challenges and emergencies may serve as a means of raising public awareness and enhancing safety, its disproportionate emphasis on negative news stories ultimately undermines individual well-being and social harmony. Therefore, it is crucial for media outlets to strike a balance by incorporating uplifting news narratives to counteract the negative effects of excessive negativity in reporting.
