Good Afternoon! 📉 RISK OFF! Stock futures drop 🇺🇸 USD 🔻 tanks after debate, US CPI today 🇯🇵 JPY 🚀 BoJ Nakagawa reiterates pledge to raise rates 🇬🇧 GBP ⬆️ despite weaker GDP, IP 🇪🇺 EUR ⬆️ on drop in US yields 🇨🇦 CAD ⬆️ Oil rebounds 🇳🇿 NZD 🔻 weakest performer

THE CPI CLEAN SHEET (CPI (YOY) example). 1. If we have 2.6% +the impact will be DXY bullish short term except if we have 2.9%+ so buy USD/XXX and sell XXX/USD. 2. if we have 2.5% that's a mixed market conditions with less volume and volatility but that's going to be a bearish DXY so buy USD/XXX and sell XXX/USD. 3. if we have 2.4% or lower than that, DXY will be highly bearish with higher market impact feeding rate cut bet greed. so sell USD/XXX and buy XXX/USD. MY THOUGHT ARE AS FOLLOWS: Overall inflation has had smooth sailing back down to baseline levels in the US as financial conditions have remained tight. Focus is still on bringing inflation down with CPI Y/Y to target points of 2%. Economists are expecting inflation data to hold steady but I can still see reports trending lower. Growth data has started to level off, financial conditions have continued to remain tight, and wages data is leveling off with the labor market cooling. Forecasts are expecting declines on the Y/Y data but we will need to see it come out right on forecast but preferably lower for more market impact feeding into the rate cut bets narrative. Lower CPI will still keep demand in risk assets with outflows/ bears on US Dollar. Am overall bearish DXY regardless as day traders and scalpers we will remain objective to adapt to the data accordingly, if the disinflation process is becoming stagnant and CPI data is NOT declining we can expect profit taking/ bearish moves on Gold from near ATHs with a larger bullish impulsive move on DXY from 100.5 lows. Remember not the trade the news and wait until the data's are out, analyze it and enter with full confidence. Thank you.

A lighter docket, though US CPI, the September ECB decision, and a couple of interesting UK releases, should still give participants plenty to mull over... 3 Things to Focus on Next Week's Economic Calendar 1. The NFP report mixed data with Revisions this report says that Last Months jobs were revised even lower to 89k. Only positive part of the report is the Unemployment rate dropping to 4.2% Tough Report. Which was what I expected as well. and now dxy bullish after a shorttem bearish just like I mentioned earlier.

3. NFP <160k unemployment rate >4.2% If the data comes in worse than expected, it will likely boost demand across various assets classes. Investors might then price in more rate cuts for 2024 and 2025. My overall bias is am Gonna take a 4.2% lower unemployment rate to have a DXY win. Bullish DXY, but keep in mind that i can be wrong. Am not the market maker🫠. Job numbers Actual greater than the forecast (164k) is good for the DXY (Dollar). While less than the forecast is bad for the DXY. But keep it mind that if it comes greater than the previous month which is 114k , the DXY will be bearish short term and the go bullish. Also they might be data revision 👀👀. It is advised that traders knowing this knowledge when trading Forex USD Pairs wait 15 mins for manipulation to take place and then enter with FULL CONFIDENCE in the true direction of the move.
