A mind with too much free time is the beginning of unnecessary drama. Keep yourself focused on meaningful goals, you will feel calm, fulfilled, happy.

How do you know whether the field of study you are in or the work you are doing is gonna be worth it?
I see a lot of people asking what "field is quicker to make money from" ,"what is the current trending job that could earn me more"
Alex hormozi said,
"The best person to marry is the one you stay with.
The best business is the one you stick with."
The thing that makes these the best isn’t the thing itself, it’s our commitment to it.
A taxi driver could earn more than a software engineer makes if he is passionate about his job and tried to expand his income as a taxi driver. You should follow a field that you like and remove all the other noises and trends and stick to what you are good at that Everytime someone mentions that field , it should be you that pops up into their mind.

Looking at companies these days, its most of the time the middle mans that are successful.
Take crypto platforms for example. Instead of taking the risk and trading on crypto they sell shovels which is the platform that connects buyer with sellers and they make more profit off of that than the people who actually trade there.

Be someone to sell shovels on a gold rush.
More people got rich during the gold rush selling shovels than looking for gold.

You have average results when you have average talent, and you have average talent when you don't know how to focus: life doesn't reward being good at many things, life rewards being great at a few things; you need to make choices, then actually stick to them for many years.

Seven Cures for a Lean Purse
#1: Start thy purse to fattening. Save at least 10% of what you earn. Resist the temptation to spend any of that 10% for immediate gratification from smaller desires. Keep the eye of your finances on the bigger picture.
#2: Control thy expenditures. Limit the income-related inflation of expenses as much as possible. Don’t confuse necessary expenses with desires. Scrutinise spending habits and identify certain expenses that can be reduced or eliminated (make a budget).
“What each of us calls our “necessary expenses” will always grow to equal our incomes unless we protest to the contrary.”
#3: Make thy gold multiply. Put your money to work and its interest/profit to work. Embrace the power of compound interest.
#4: Guard thy treasures from loss. Study carefully before parting with money. Don’t get misled by get-rich-quick schemes. Get acquainted with the risks. Consult those with proven experience of turning a profit. Keep the principal safe.
#5: Make of thy dwelling a profitable investment. Own your own home instead of renting.
#6: Insure a future income. Investment for retirement. Provide in advance for the needs of family and growing age.
#7: Increase thy ability to earn. Increase knowledge to grow income. Cultivate skills, study and become wiser. Consider your desires carefully.

We are what we repeatedly do.
Though we have have particular inclinations at birth, we will not be “talented” until we’ve repeated something so much that no matter how hard we try, we could not do it incorrectly.

A lot of “talented people” are simply people with infinite patience when it comes to repeating the simple and “boring” basics.

You are supposed to use your imagination to get excited about all the good things that you could be part of, not to worry about all the bad things that could happen to you.

You are not limited by your technical skills, you are limited by your lack of mental clarity, social skills, and imagination.
You don’t need to solve the most difficult, abstract problems to live a great life.
Clarify what you want, communicate more clearly, see what happens.
