Notice the large amount of cubic feet cut out on the border of the structure, as if a large laser was set to cut from a certain 3D file that includes the empty space around the structure layer of the file. That would explain why it is a perfect rectangle cut out, even the corners on top are cut out as well. If this was hand-carved, time would not be spent attempting to carve out extra space that isn't even connected to the structure at all. Furthermore, notice how smooth and sharp the cut is on the left side. It's almost like someone cut through the rock with a hot knife. That alone dissuades me from believing that this was hand-carved.
