FOR STUDENTS OFFERING GES 101👇 *Dear Students* RE: *SCHEDULING OF CENTRAL TEST FOR GES 101 (USE OF ENGLISH) - FIRST SEMESTER, 2023/2024 SESSION* Please be informed that the central test for GES 101 will be written on Thursday, 22 and Friday, 23 August, 2024. The schedule is attached as an image to this message. *Kindly note the following IMPORTANT INFORMATION*: a. The test will be written using the Google Form. Hence, you are required to bring your internet-enabled phones to the test centres. The google link to the test will be forwarded to your WhatsApp platform by your tutor two minutes before the test commences. b. On the designated days, the test starts at exactly 3:15. You are expected to be seated by 3:00 pm at the test centres. c. Your tutor determines the venue for the test but it is highly recommended that venues within your faculty should be used. d. The areas of concentration for the test are morpheme and word formation processes, word classes, phrases, clauses and sentences. *This is strictly for the central test.* *ALL THE ITEMS ON THE COURSE OUTLINE WILL BE TESTED DURING THE EXAMINATION.* e. The test will be for 15 minutes (3:15 to 3:30pm). *THE TIMING WILL BE VERY STRICT*, you will answer 20 questions in 15 minutes. *The question format will be multi-choice.*
