God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 An eternally-existent (Psalm 90:2), time-transcendent (Psalm 93:2), omniscient (Psalm 139:1-6), omnipresent (Psalm 139:7-12), Creator God (Genesis 1:1), who inhabits eternity (Isaiah 57:15), *could not be anything but* 'very present' in *our [time of] trouble*, as from Him and through Him and to Him are all things (Romans 11:36), and in Him all things hold together (Colossians 1:17). For the Christian, we can declare that, because all of our days are written in God's book (Psalm 139:16), the Lord directs our steps (Proverbs 16:9), the Lord maketh our way perfect (Psalm 18:32), and that God is accomplishing *everything* according to His counsel and delight (Isaiah 46:10), that God is working all things (including our trouble!) together for the good of those who love Him (born-again believers)--for those who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). In this, the Christian can find both rest and an achor for the soul in the midst of trials, calamity, and perceived misfortune(s). There are derivative purposes in every occasion; therefore every season has meaning. Every good time, every bad time, every joy, and every sorrow--all have meaning(s) and are a means that the Lord uses as tools in accomplishing the end purpose(s) that He desires, which ultimately for the Christian is conformity into the image of God's only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29). Through it all, the Lord is 'very present'--a refuge and strength for us to draw near to Whom also will draw near to us in return (James 4:8). Soli Deo Gloria!

The WHO is now trying to blame cows for the spread of H5N1 'bird flu', which could supposedly develop the ability to infect humans, with an "extraordinarily high" mortality rate. Will the WHO now start calling for cows to be culled in the name of "public health", leaving people no option but to eat insects and lab-grown "meat"? And is it just a "coincidence" that this should occur just weeks before the WHO Pandemic Agreement is set to be voted on? You decide.
