Now I know what you're thinking. The prosecutors, in preparing the case and coaching their 'star perjurer' before the trial began...HAD to know he'd stolen this $30,000 and tried to cover it up. The prosecution had a chance to lessen the impact of that by bringing it up themselves during their direct examination of their own start witness on the stand. THEY CHOSE NOT TO DO THAT. And so the worst possible thing that could happen for the prosecution just happened: The defense knew about the stolen $30,000 too, and just forced Cohen to admit in front of the jury that he took it. Was Bragg and his incompetent crew simply HOPING that Trump's defense wouldn't bring this up? Jesus have pity...

I can only imagine what Bragg and Judge Merchan's faces looked like when the case's 'star perjurer', oops, I meant 'star witness' admits under oath on the stand today that he stole $30,000 from Trump. Dumbasses. They're all dumbasses.
