Some key highlights from PM announcement
1) 15 Sep public holiday
2) RON95 dropped to RM2

🇲🇾 Economic Achievements:
Malaysia's economy is on solid ground under the Ekonomi MADANI framework.
Q1 GDP growth at 4.4%, with Q2 projected at 4.5%.
FDI in 2024 reached a record RM384 billion.
The Ringgit strengthened over 5%, now RM4.23/USD, among the top 5 performing Asian currencies.
People-Centric Outcomes:
Unemployment down to 3.0% (lowest in a decade).
Minimum wage raised to RM1,700 from RM1,500 (Feb 2025).
GLCs ensured 153,000 employees receive a living wage of RM3,100.
Over 4,000 healthcare positions to be filled by end of 2025.
Nearly 150,000 hardcore poor households uplifted from poverty (2023–2024).
💰 Direct Aid to the People:
STR & SARA aid increased to RM13 billion.
RM100 one-off SARA to all adults (18+), benefiting 22 million Malaysians, costing RM2 billion.
Social welfare aid under JKM increased to RM2.9 billion.
Paddy floor price and rubber incentives raised multiple times.
🏘️ Community-Based Programs:
Sejati MADANI: RM100,000 grants per community — 8,600+ economic activities initiated.
Kampung Angkat MADANI: Expanded from 40 to 200 villages.
Sekolah Angkat MADANI: Target of 1,000 adopted schools in 2025.
Cost of Living Relief Measures:
1. SARA for All (RM100 via MyKad) from 31 Aug–31 Dec 2025.
2. 15 Sept declared public holiday for Hari Malaysia.
3. Jualan Rahmah MADANI allocation doubled to RM600 million.
4. Toll hikes for 10 highways postponed (Govt absorbs RM500M).
5. RON95 petrol to be reduced to RM2.00/litre, targeted subsidy to exclude foreigners.
6. Electricity tariff restructured, with 85% of domestic users seeing lower bills.
🔚 Conclusion:
The Prime Minister reaffirmed his government’s people-first approach.
