As per Directorate Letter No. 17-31/2016-GDS(Pt.I) dated 23 October 2025, It is clarified that no Past work verification is required before relieving the GDS. Delay in joining could affect the seniority of the GDS, therefore, the GDSs whose transfer is approved will be relieved on or before the stipulated date without fail. It is noted that many GDS are not relieved from the old post by the stipulated date as per the schedule of activities on the pretext of pending past work verification. 🚨 Hence, all Divisional Heads are requested to relieve all Rule3 Allotted GDSs under their control today (i.e. 10th December 2025) without Fail. 🚨 Relieving of Rule3 Allotted GDSs can't be delayed for Target Fill Up or Past Work Verification. They have to do the same in newly Joined Division. On transfer of the GDS outside his parent Division, the GDS's fully updated personal file will be sent to the new Division within 30 days of the relieving through insured post under intimation to the GDS concerned.

🚨 Rule3 Important : Contact your Divisional Head and ask him to relieve you tomorrow (On 10th December) without fail. If he denies and order you to fill up Target before being relieved, then Record the Call and Contact me. 🔥 Remember this Joining Date will be considered for your Present Cadre Seniority and 2nd Time Transfer.

🚨 Rule3 Important : Division must Relieve all GDS on 10th December. If they make any delay, it'll affect Seniority of GDS in New Division. So, contact your Division immediately for your Relieving.

1) Post offices which has been mapped with a minimum of 10 Branch Post offices. 2) Branch Post offices in remote, mountainous and difficult areas may be prioritized. However, other routes may also be selected. 3) Only those BOs may be selected which are located at a minimum distance of at least 25 km from Account office 4) Areas with army or other sensitive installations to be avoided With Regards @excellenceDOP
