‏التذكير لأهل السنة

قال ابن الجوزي رحمه الله: ‏ تَدّعِي العَجز عَن الطّاعَة، ‏ وفِي المعاصِي أستاذ. ‏المدهش صـ٣٤٧ And this is the reality of most of us… When it comes to doing righteous deeds and acts of worship we feel sluggish and burdened, but we’re all masters and experts in sins.

"The important thing is the ending, and for this reason, a person must always be afraid of a bad ending and should always ask Allah, the Exalted, for a good ending and to not die except as a Muslim." [Al-Uthaymeen - Tafsir Surat An-Nisa - Vol. 2, p. 113]

"Sincerity is Difficult" The esteemed Sheikh, Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Sincerity is not something easy. Rather, sincerity is one of the most difficult things for the soul. This is why it is said: 'Whoever says "La ilaha illallah" (There is no deity but Allah) sincerely from his heart will enter Paradise.' The matter is extremely serious; Therefore, we must examine our hearts. Are we sincere in our actions, in our worship, in our pursuit of knowledge, and in all our circumstances?" 📚 Sharh Umdat al-Ahkam 1/24
