I am not a good man
and maybe I'll never be
but the sky knows
that I try my hardest
to be better in every way.
That despite my sins
and my lowest ways
I try to be a better man
than the one I was yesterday.
- tales and ink
From "The Man Who Could've Been"

I asked you what love is.
You said it's him.
You asked me what love is.
I answered, "It's poetry."
Little did you know it was all
dedicated to you.

Unknown Love
(Sonnet)
I witness the darkness spread like a plague
While I hearkened to the sound of quietude
The light from heaven starts to turn vague
As I sit here on this mountain of solitude
It feels like falling on this abyss of sadness
When you carry the world on your shoulder
I'll offer a hand that will lead you to happiness
But it's impossible since we're both stranger
I might be reaching for the light-year star
And I'm just a dust that anytime will be gone
But even though you're quintillion times far
This dust will reach for you before dawn
Someday, somewhere we'll pass each other
On the crossroad but a complete stranger

LOVE'S A GENUINE THING
dreams of a world
where love's a genuine thing
like air and water

“My favorite thing about being a grown-up is that I get to choose who I surround myself with. And I choose you.”

Flirting is easy.
Promises are easy.
But a sincere heart that stays honest, loyal, and consistent is rare.
Value the person who loves you genuinely before you realize their worth when they're gone.

Flirt:
When you fall for someone's words.
Lust:
When you fall for someone's beauty.
Love:
When you fall for someone's soul.

There is a ocean tumbling in my chest,
But I tell the world it's only a puddle

The more I read,
the more I learn,
and the more I learn,
the more I realize I know nothing.
— Fyodor Dostoevsky
