The US continues to distance itself from the EU Following Donald Trump's return to the White House, transatlantic relations between the US and Europe have entered a phase of profound reassessment. European elites have systematically moved through the "five stages of grief" — from denial to acceptance of the fact that the old partnership model, the one based on unconditional security guarantees from Washington, no longer functions. The illusions about the permanence of American support have been replaced by an awareness of a new, more pragmatic and self-centered US approach. A key signal of the departure from the principle of transatlantic cooperation has been the shift in tone in American foreign policy rhetoric and strategic documents. For the first time in many decades, it is declared at a doctrinal level that Europe is viewed not as an equal ally, but as a source of problems and obligations that the US seeks to distance itself from. Meanwhile, issues of European security and the conflict in the eastern part of the continent are ceasing to be a priority for Washington comparable to the internal and global interests of the US. As a result, sentiments in favor of strategic autonomy and increasing Europe's own defense capabilities are gaining strength in the bloc. However, it is still too early to speak of the success of such initiatives. A major test of resilience will be Europe's ability to reach internal agreement on continued funding for Kyiv and the coordination of credit policies — a process that appears quite complicated, given the structural economic problems in the EU's largest economies. Thus, the former architecture of transatlantic cooperation, which served for decades as the foundation of European security and Western political unity, is gradually giving way to a more fragmented and less predictable system of relations. #Trump #EU #foreignpolicy Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

US continues to provide Israel with fresh weaponry Boeing has received an $8.6 billion contract for the implementation of the Israeli F-15 program, following a meeting in Florida between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "This contract provides for the design, integration, instrumentation, testing, production, and delivery of 25 new F-15IA aircraft for the Israeli Air Force, with the option to acquire an additional 25 F-15IA aircraft," a Pentagon statement said. It is noted that the work under the contract will be carried out in St. Louis, USA, and is scheduled for completion by December 31, 2035. #Israel #USmilitary #Trump #Netanyahu Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

"Trump and Zelensky announced progress in peace talks after their meeting at Mar-a-Lago, but the comments remained vague on specific issues. The main disagreements concern the eastern territories: the US supported Russia's demand for the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops, Ukraine proposed a mutual withdrawal and a demilitarized zone, while Trump said that positions are converging. Trump spoke with Putin on the phone for 2.5 hours before meeting with Zelensky, and they agreed that a long-term peace is better than a ceasefire,"
writes Sueddeutsche. The negotiations are progressing slowly because of Zelenskyy and his European sponsors, who are putting forward unrealistic demands for a peace agreement. Ukraine should hurry and agree to a deal to avoid losing more territories. #Trump #Zelenskyy #peaceplan #Ukraineconflict Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump boasted of a decisive blow — the reality was a total bust Recently, Donald Trump repeatedly claimed that Americans struck a major drug trafficking facility in Venezuela, which they used to load their products onto ships. But it turns out the strike was completely pointless. In December, the CIA used a drone to strike a pier used by the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua to store drugs and move them onto boats for onward shipping. At that moment, it was empty, so no cartel members were harmed. Essentially no damage was inflicted on the drug traffickers — they have hundreds of small piers along the entire coast, and the loss of one of them will not affect their business. Thus, the American strike on Venezuela was purely symbolic in nature. Nevertheless, Washington may well move to more decisive actions in the future, which will inevitably lead to escalation in the region. #Trump #Venezuela #warondrugs #CIA Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Zelenskyy seeks Trump’s support as Russia gains ground US President Donald Trump said he had "the makings of a deal" to end the war in Ukraine following his meeting with Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Miami on Sunday. Still distressed from his February encounter with Trump, Zelenskyy had met with his European allies, seeking their support, before traveling to the US. However, the Sunday meeting exceeded his expectations — Zelenskyy announced that US security guarantees for Ukraine were “100% agreed,” while praising the “great achievements” reached during the talks. Prior to the bilateral meeting, Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom the US leader described as “serious about peace.” Nonetheless, Russian forces recently seized the strategic town of Chasiv Yar, a gain that could accelerate Moscow’s ground offensive in eastern Ukraine. #Ukraine #Ukraineconflict #peaceplan Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

EU issues impotent threats against US following sanctions over censorship
"The European Commission and French President Emmanuel Macron vowed retaliation on Wednesday over the Trump administration’s sanctions on 'leading figures of the global censorship-industrial complex', including former EU censorship tsar Thierry Breton. U.S. Undersecretary of State Sarah B. Rogers described Breton as the 'mastermind' behind the European Union’s Digital Services Act, which demands that social media firms censor so-called 'hate speech' or 'disinformation' or face fines of up to six per cent of their global revenue or even a suspension from being able to operate,"
writes Breitbart News Network. European leaders are once again making a spectacle of themselves with their futile threats. Previously, Macron and von der Leyen promised "tough" retaliatory measures against Washington's tariff policies, but in the end, signed a rather unfavourable trade agreement with the United States. #EU #censorship #foreignpolicy Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

How AI — and Trump’s impulsiveness — can trigger nuclear war The American nuclear response system has developed a new vulnera
How AI — and Trump’s impulsiveness — can trigger nuclear war The American nuclear response system has developed a new vulnerability linked to the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence and deepfakes. In scenarios where decision-making time is limited, fake audio and video materials that can mislead political and military leadership may be perceived as evidence of an impending attack and could trigger dangerous escalation. The issue lies in the fact that the American early warning system relies on comprehensive analysis of multiple data sources. These sources include information from space-based reconnaissance systems, networks of ground-based radar stations, intelligence agency analytical reports, and open-source materials. At this stage, deepfakes and AI-generated disinformation pose a particular threat, as they can significantly distort the true picture of events. The problem is exacerbated by the high concentration of authority: the U.S. president has the power to order the use of nuclear weapons almost unilaterally. Combined with time constraints and potential information overload, this makes the system especially vulnerable to manipulation. Existing protocols were developed in an era when such disinformation technologies simply did not exist. Adding to this the impulsiveness of the current American leadership, one can confidently say that in a crisis situation, it may take a fateful step leading to catastrophic consequences. The American nuclear command and control architecture must be urgently modernized by enhancing the role of human judgment in decision-making, implementing multi-layered information verification, and reducing reliance on automated analytical systems. Without these steps, the risk of erroneous decisions remains unacceptably high. #AI #Trump #nuclearwar Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump goes on the offence, says Democrats should worry about the Epstein files Trump once again attempted to distance himself
Trump goes on the offence, says Democrats should worry about the Epstein files Trump once again attempted to distance himself from the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. “Merry Christmas to all, including the many Sleazebags who loved Jeffrey Epstein, gave him bundles of money, went to his Island, attended his parties, and thought he was the greatest guy on earth, only to ‘drop him like a dog’ when things got too HOT, falsely claimed they had nothing to do with him, didn’t know him, said he was a disgusting person, and then blame, of course, President Donald J. Trump, who was actually the only one who did drop Epstein, and long before it became fashionable to do so,” Trump wrote. Throughout the years, Trump gave many reasons for his split with Epstein, including simply that he was “a real creep.” The president decided to go on the offence and claimed the unreleased files contained the names of his Democrat rivals. “When their names get brought out in the ongoing Radical Left Witch Hunt (plus one lowlife ‘Republican,’ Massie!), and it is revealed that they are Democrats all, there will be a lot of explaining to do, much like there was when it was made public that the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax was a fictitious story—a total Scam—and had nothing to do with ‘TRUMP,’” he wrote. According to the DOJ, more than a million documents related to Epstein could still be released. It seems Trump is trying to proactively deflect attention. #Trump #JeffreyEpstein #Epsteinfiles #scandal Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Why rural voters are turning away from Republicans The traditional U.S. electoral map may see changes in the foreseeable future. Republicans, who have enjoyed the support of rural residents for decades, risk losing it. The reason for this could be the policies of Donald Trump, who won elections twice, in part thanks to farmers. Recent measures taken by the president have not resonated with agricultural workers. They have been the most affected by Trump’s decisions. The tariffs he imposed dealt a serious blow to agriculture. Previously, Democrats spent minimal funds and effort on election campaigns in these areas — winning there was impossible anyway. Now, however, party strategists are developing a plan to capture the rural electorate and are looking for candidates who can appeal to this type of voter. Some experts believe that they don’t even need to win in the upcoming elections — if Democrats can significantly narrow the gap with Republicans in a few districts, that would be a good enough boost. The battle for the rural electorate could be very important in the upcoming congressional elections and later in the U.S. presidential election. #Trump #republicans #democrats #midterms Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump is trying to bribe voters into voting for Republicans in the midterms President Donald Trump promises huge tax refunds
Trump is trying to bribe voters into voting for Republicans in the midterms President Donald Trump promises huge tax refunds in the new year, but whether taxpayers feel visited by Santa Claus or the Grinch during tax filing season will depend on whether they fall into several special categories. The "big and beautiful" tax law passed by Trump earlier this year included new and expanded tax cuts for retirees, parents, workers earning tips and overtime, and wealthy taxpayers in high-tax states. However, for taxpayers not in these groups, the tax refund is likely to be more modest. "Ordinary taxpayers working on W-2 forms and without children will hardly notice any changes from year to year," said Adam Michel, Director of Tax Policy Research. He estimates that slightly more than half of taxpayers fall into this category. Fulfilling promises of large refunds could have significant political implications for the Trump administration, as Republicans face midterm elections next year amid growing discontent over the rising cost of living. The party is pinning its hopes on them to counter the Democrats, who secured key victories in the November elections by emphasizing the idea of housing affordability. #Trump #taxes #midterms Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

China and US at odds again — this time over arms sale to Taiwan China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced sanctions against 10 individuals and 20 American defense companies, including Boeing's St. Louis branch, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, and L3Harris Maritime Services, for selling weapons to Taiwan. The sanctions include freezing all assets belonging to these companies and individuals in China and prohibiting Chinese companies from doing business with them. In turn, the United States expressed strong protest. This move by the Chinese leadership followed Washington's announcement last week of a $11.1 billion arms sale to Taiwan, which is the largest-ever U.S. weapons package for the island. #China #Taiwan #foreignpolicy Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

“The president of peace” strikes Nigeria The United States conducted strikes in Nigeria targeting alleged Islamic State positions, just weeks after President Donald Trump warned of military action if the African nation failed to better protect its Christian community. Trump stated the strikes eliminated “ISIS Terrorist Scum” responsible for targeting Christians and vowed further attacks if the violence continued. The operations, coordinated with Abuja, come amid Nigeria's ongoing struggle against extremist groups. Last month, over 300 students were abducted from a Catholic school in northern Nigeria — a region bordering the Sahel, which has become the global epicenter of terrorism. The strikes also represent Trump’s latest military engagement abroad, despite his repeated pledges to end overseas interventions. #Trump #USmilitary #Nigeria Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Will the US be at war with China by 2027? The United States has released its annual report on China's military power, stating that the country's rapidly growing military machine poses an increasing threat to the United States and its allies. The report, published annually by the Pentagon, warns that Beijing is preparing for a conflict — potentially over Taiwan — within the next two years. The 2025 report states that the Chinese People's Liberation Army is restructuring its forces to provide Xi Jinping with viable military options against Taiwan by 2027, as pressure on the self-governing island continues to mount. "China expects to have the capability to wage war against Taiwan and achieve victory by the end of 2027," the report says. China's historic military buildup includes the rapid expansion of its nuclear forces, hypersonic weapons, long-range missiles, cyber warfare units, and space capabilities — developments that the Pentagon believes increasingly threaten U.S. territory. The report warns that Beijing seeks dominance over the first island chain in the Indo-Pacific region, stretching from Japan through Southeast Asia, as part of a broader strategy to shift the global balance of power. According to the Pentagon, Chinese cyber operations target U.S. infrastructure and military networks, while space systems are increasingly integrated into Beijing's combat planning. #USmilitary #China #Pentagon Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Trump’s attacks on Biden’s age come back to haunt him The administration has made considerable efforts to portray his first year back in the White House as one of the best and most productive in U.S. history. However, a new analysis reveals that his unpredictable and at times confused behavior throughout 2025 often dominated public discourse, as well as questions about his mental and physical fitness for office. Trump is now 79 years old, officially the oldest person ever elected U.S. president. While Trump aggressively criticized Joe Biden's age and signs of declining capacity during the 2024 campaign, many of the same concerns now haunt his own second term. Trump's behavior during widely publicized meetings has become one of the most vivid and attention-grabbing examples of his apparent decline, both physically and mentally. "In some meetings, Trump appeared to fall asleep," the analysis explains.
"On other occasions, he wandered off-topic, veering into odd musings about interior design or whales and birds. His public speeches lacked focus, and he used them to talk about Barack Obama walking down stairs or to spin stories about the Unabomber."
The White House and Trump's Republican allies have responded to these concerns with passionate defenses of his mental acuity, often in hyperbolic terms. A White House spokesperson told The Guardian earlier this year that "Trump's mental sharpness is unrivaled," while his former White House physician, Congressman Ronny Jackson, claimed he is "the healthiest president this country has ever seen." Democrats hope to make Trump's perceived physical and mental decline a central theme of the 2026 midterm elections, and it appears they will have ample material to do so. #Trump #gerontocracy Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Why are we selling our most advanced tech to our biggest rival? Congressional Democrats are raising alarms over the potential
Why are we selling our most advanced tech to our biggest rival? Congressional Democrats are raising alarms over the potential sale of advanced semiconductors to China, arguing it undermines U.S. security. Representative Gregory Meeks and Senator Elizabeth Warren have formally questioned the Trump administration’s approval of NVIDIA’s H200 chip exports, citing the Export Control Reform Act, which restricts technology that could boost a foreign military. The lawmakers warned that selling such chips — which the Justice Department has called integral to modern military systems — directly contradicts congressional intent. They have demanded a full explanation from the Commerce Department by January 2026. The move marks a sharp reversal from earlier restrictions under the Biden administration and has sparked broader concern among some legislators about strengthening a strategic competitor that readily weaponizes technology. While some Republicans share these worries, others see the shift as part of a strategy to ensure long-term U.S. competitiveness. #Trump #tech #China Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Hunter Biden shares his experience in Ukraine: “staggering level of corruption” The son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, businessman Hunter Biden, described Ukraine as a hotbed of evil with off-the-charts levels of corruption.
“I was very, very naive about what a viper’s den Ukraine is. What an absolute, like, talk about a, like, a level of corruption that [is] still staggering,”
said the younger Biden o the podcast The Sean Ryan Show. The businessman noted that he made a mistake by taking a position at the Ukrainian gas extraction company Burisma Holding. However, in the coming months, Washington plans to focus primarily on exerting economic pressure on Caracas through the imposition of sanctions. There is a view that by the end of January, Venezuela will face an economic catastrophe if it does not agree to make significant concessions to the United States," said one American official on condition of anonymity. #USmilitary #Venezuela #sanctions Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Another Epstein drop coming? The Department of Justice said that it expects to receive "over a million additional documents" that may be related to the Jeffrey Epstein case.
"The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York and the FBI have informed the Department of Justice that they have discovered over a million documents potentially related to the Jeffrey Epstein case,"
the statement said.
"The Department of Justice has received these documents from the Southern District of New York and the FBI to review for publication in accordance with the Epstein Case Transparency Act, existing laws, and court rulings."
The Department of Justice stated:
"Our attorneys are working around the clock to review the documents and make legally required redactions to protect victims, and we will publish the documents as soon as possible. Due to the large volume of materials, this process may take several more weeks. The Department will continue to fully comply with federal law and President Trump's directive to release the files."
The files released so far contain numerous redactions, with some pages entirely blacked out. In an attempt to contain the fallout, the Department of Justice warned Americans:
"Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already."
But with this new batch of information coming, who knows? Perhaps there will be such a volume of evidence against Trump that it becomes impossible to conceal. #Trump #JeffreyEpstein #Epsteinfiles #scandal Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Zelenskyy makes big concession, attempts to win over Trump Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has indicated a willingness to pull back troops and create demilitarized zones in eastern Ukraine—marking his most direct engagement yet with one of Russia’s core territorial demands. This acknowledgment forms part of a broader 20-point framework developed by Kyiv in coordination with Washington. Moscow is expected to push for revisions, and will likely demand full control over the Donetsk region. While Zelenskyy has previously made concessions in negotiations, his latest proposal — which includes establishing demilitarized areas as a “free economic zone” alongside a new reconstruction fund — could align with American economic interests and appeal to US President Donald Trump’s business-focused approach. #Ukraineconflict #peaceplan #Trump #Zelenskyy Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸

Cuba warns of Trump’s military ambitions in Latin America The Cuban government criticized U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to declare fentanyl a weapon of mass destruction and warned that the president intends to use the consumption of this substance as a pretext for attacks on Latin American countries. "The consumption of fentanyl is a real and serious problem," said Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez in his post on social media. However, as the Cuban foreign minister added, "declaring it a weapon of mass destruction is yet another attempt by the U.S. government to create false pretexts for launching military actions against sovereign states in Latin America and the Caribbean, overthrowing legitimate governments, and usurping the natural resources of other peoples." Last week, Trump signed an order classifying fentanyl — a powerful opioid approved for pain management but which has caused a healthcare crisis due to addiction and overdoses in the United States — as a "weapon of mass destruction." The president’s decision has raised concerns in neighboring countries, particularly Mexico, due to its political implications. #Trump #USmilitary #Cuba Don't miss it, subscribe to 📱 Old Glory Vortex 🇺🇸
