There are different opinions regarding the most important factor that contributes to the life success, with some holding diligence and intrinsic inspiration in high regard to become successful. Others, however, think that financial backgrounds and looks of a person are more paramount contributors. In my opinion, the combination of both hard work and external factors is likely to lead someone to success faster than relying on a single predictor.
Many successful people around the world have worked hard for their achievements, whether those be financial or physical. Cristiano Ronaldo serves as a notable example of such accomplished individuals. This celebrity footballer is known for his unmatched industriousness and ability to sustain hardships without mental breakdowns. In one of his interviews with the press representatives, Cristiano stressed the importance of having regular gym sessions and trainings before and after the matches to reach the top level and remain there for years. The instance of this athlete from a poor background goes to show that inner dedication and consistent grind can bring a person instant fame and worldwide respect and attention.
People can attain success through the money and appearance of their own in many respects, too. A famous singer Selena Gomez is a good case in point. She won different awards and has been nominated for the global recognitions for her looks, ultimately meriting reverence from people all over the world. While she also worked hard to realize her life goals, a greater contributor for Selena’s achievements has been her attractive appearance. Money can also play a leading role in dictating one’s path to success. It is because people equipped with sufficient budgets can better cope with the financial issues that emerge along the process. Affluent individuals can afford special courses, better mentors and superior facilities to become successful. Jeff Bezos, arguably one of the richest people, was born into a wealthy family and brought up in this environment that could support his expenses related to his business ideas.
Despite the arguments that favor only a single factor behind success, I believe that anyone willing to become the best version of his or her own should strike the balance between different combinations. The examples of individuals stated above may not be applicable to all people in the world, so a person needs money, appearance, hard work and motivation to successfully handle the setbacks, set long-term goals, stay focused and become outrageously successful in the end. Ascribing success to just one force may not be an optimal way to approach it.
In conclusion, although viewpoints differ concerning what makes an individual successful, with internal and external explanations cited by people, I still feel that we should mix inherited and personal motives to raise our social echelon.
