U.S. CENTCOM:
U.S. forces intercepted unprovoked Iranian attacks and responded with self-defense strikes as U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers transited the Strait of Hormuz to the Gulf of Oman, May 7.
Iranian forces launched multiple missiles, drones and small boats as USS Truxtun (DDG 103), USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115), and USS Mason (DDG 87) transited the international sea passage. No U.S. assets were struck.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) eliminated inbound threats and targeted Iranian military facilities responsible for attacking U.S. forces including missile and drone launch sites; command and control locations; and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance nodes.
CENTCOM does not seek escalation but remains positioned and ready to protect American forces.

Speaking of the marginalisation of Kurds Syria.
This morning in Raqqah, Syrian Government Forces raided and detained 10 Kurds of the Sheikhan tribe.
Their agricultural lands were seized by the Syrian Government.
Just today, 10 Kurdish families(!) had to leave Raqqah city and fled as IDPs towards Qamishlo.
Over the past week several cases of forceful displacements of Kurdish families from Raqqah have become known.
This follows an arrest campaign by the Syrian Government across Raqqah city and province; Kurds are being collectively accused of being *separatists* and subsequently arrested.

The Syrian Government has intensified their efforts to further marginalise the Kurdish people in Syria.
By orders of the Syrian Government, the Justice-Palace (Courthouse) building had its Kurdish (&Arabic) elements in the building and the walls removed and replaced it with English and Arabic elements.
The courthouse of a Kurdish region and city now does not allow the use of the Kurdish language - a direct violation of the integration agreement.
Now there is popular unrest in the city. Kurdish residents have torn down the sign.
Syrian Government affiliates are again issuing calls for a tribal mobilisation against the Kurds.

The campaign launched for the YPJ is spreading globally.
The YPJ women's army, which spearheaded the war in which all states fought together to eliminate ISIS, the most brutal terrorist organization the world's peoples have faced, is now being ignored. Therefore, the "We are all YPJ" campaign is spreading and continuing.
It's our turn now to support the YPJ women's army, which sacrificed thousands of young women so that we could live.

Why can't the displaced Afrin people return? The gang groups under MIT control, along with their families — who are part of the interim government — have not yet vacated the homes in Afrin. It has also been learned that those who have returned have not yet fully regained their properties.

The Apoist Movement:
- We adhere to the call of Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
- We have taken significant steps to pave the way for a democratic solution.
- The steps we have taken have not been met with any serious political or legal action from the Turkish state.
- The steps have been limited to a few meetings in Imrali Prison, reflecting a lack of genuine will to ensure the success of the peace process.
- Any progress towards a solution hinges on the official recognition of Leader Öcalan as a key party in the negotiations.
- The transition to political action depends on a clear legal and legislative environment.
-We call on the Turkish authorities to expedite the necessary legal steps to ensure the success of the peace process.

From on the ground sources we can confirm that the Iranian government has issued evacuation orders to sensitive sites.
Several refuelling aircrafts are in the air and the US navy has been issued an order to respond to potential threats from Iran (Hormuz Theater) (per Axios).
Significant US airforce activity has been reported north of the UAE and at the coast of Oman.
CENTCOM has stated 30 minutes that they have entered the strait and escorted 2 ships into the gulf of Oman - as it appears, the USA now goes for the full evacuation of ships through the strait and mobilises all necessary assets to secure the operation.

Here the Syrian ministry of interior explains that the Syrian Government will decide on whether or not to allow a demonstration to take place based on
> Is there a need for a demonstration <
> has there already been a demonstration <
> Did the Syrian Government contacted the demonstrators <
These are the examples given by the Syrian minister of interior on wether or not a demonstration will be allowed or not.
The Syrian government can at any time decide *there is no need for a demonstration* and the demonstration will not be allowed; anyone who protests will be persecuted.

New-Syria - Demonstrations must be approved by the Syrian Government now; otherwise they will be viewed as illegal which provides the Syrian Government with a mechanism to stop any protest they deem as hostile to their rule; subsequently anyone who dares to protest will be prosecuted.
This is an ban on demonstrations in opposition to the Syrian Government; the right to protest is a cornerstone of any democracy - in 2011, Bashar al Assad issued the same decree which fuelled the pre-existing protests in Syria; ultimately leading to civil war.

In a manner reminiscent of Hafez al-Assad's era, residents of Lairamoun protest against "expropriation" and face the threat of land confiscation.
Residents of the Lairamoun neighborhood in Aleppo held a protest in front of the Palace of Justice, expressing their rejection of what they described as the "expropriation" practices of housing associations, accusing them of attempting to seize their land unjustly and without legal basis.
The protesters chanted slogans against the interim Damascus authority: "No to corruption, no to usurpation."
The protesters pointed out that these measures are based on decrees they described as unjust, issued during the era of Hafez al-Assad, which they believe are being used today as a legal cover to confiscate their property.
