Kidnapped Child Murdered in Aleppo! Mihemed Ehmed El Esaf, a child living in the El Shaar neighborhood of Aleppo, was kidnapped by unidentified individuals, and his body was found 20 days later. It was learned that the kidnappers demanded a $3,000 ransom from the family for his release, but instead of freeing him, the child was murdered. Hours after the body was found, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) announced that they had arrested the kidnappers. However, this announcement was met with criticism due to the questions it raised. The public questioned how individuals who went unidentified for 20 days could be identified and arrested within hours of the child's murder. The failure to reveal the perpetrators' identities has raised concerns that the government may be protecting some individuals involved in the crime.

Farhad Shami, director of the media center for the SDF, stated that an initial contingent of 100 to 125 members of the Syrian Transitional Government (STC) would enter the city of Hasakah on Monday in 15 vehicles. Shami explained that a second contingent of the same size would enter the city of Qamishli on Tuesday. He noted that all of these forces are from Daraa Governorate, a condition stipulated by the SDF within the existing agreements. He indicated that the forces entering Hasakah would be stationed at three or four designated locations within the city center, accompanied by Asayish (Kurdish security forces), and their presence would be for a limited period. He added that the mission of these forces is limited to overseeing the integration process, and they will leave the area upon completion of their tasks. In Hasakah, the entry of these forces was initially planned to be via the Panorama roundabout, but the route has been changed for the time being to the Ghazl roundabout for security reasons.

According to the information we have received, the so-called intelligence administration led by Husên El Selamê has so far failed to provide any response to the current situation, which is pushing the general administration toward a major crisis and inevitable escalation. Regarding the military situation: the door for military recruitment from the people of Deir ez-Zor has been opened — especially from the Jazira side — in order to bring in a large number of recruits into the army, and efforts in this direction have begun.

The Hashd Al Shaabi (PMF) in Iraq - specifically the lesser known Saraya Awliya Al-Dam released a video showcasing their underground missile and bunker complex in Iraq. All are part of the Islamic Resistance Factions and have created this proxy unit to not be held responsible for retaliation attacks by the USA/Israel. SAD is not a widely known faction to the public but they have been responsible for a series of attacks targeting US forces across Iraq and Syria in response to the assassination of Soleimani (2020). 2. He emphasized that the attention of the world public opinion should be redirected to Kobane today, as it was then. Also Baran was also one of the leading commanders of the Tishrin resistance.

Yet when they speak to their base, they release this footage. And the language, imagery, and intent are identical to when they called themselves the Islamic State instead of the Syrian Arab Republic. I keep pointing to this, over and over, like a madman. But the truth is not hidden. It is visible to anyone willing to look. They label Kurds as “rebels” and “separatists.” They frame their actions as “security operations.” Their fighters are no longer called mujahideen but “internal security services.”

This is by now a pattern; a strategy even. Syrian Government Media First denies the reports and actively spreads disinformation to discredit the local reports and testimonies - after the STG consolidates their position, the STG directly or indirectly confirms the reports. Yesterday a Syrian researcher posted a thread highlighting that the Syrian Government has dismissed a Syrian General/Commander for launching the operation to seize Raqqa and Deirezzor. He argues that this a sign of nation building as it implies that the STG is punishing those who act outside of the command structure of the STG; while this is certainly true - from another angle: This is also evidence that the Syrian Government does not have control over its forces nor military command. The operation to seize Raqqa and DeZ was not planned to be carried out in this manner and time period. This is important for 2 things: 1. The STG has proven with this operation that they do not abide by the orders given by the USA; further: it is evidence that the Jolani administration does not have full control over its military. The USA does not have tolerance for this behaviour and it will show its consequences in the long run. 2. The STG was not prepared for the takeover of Raqqa and DeZ; it leaves a major security vacuum open and the resources+measures to stabilise the regions will have to be improvised. If the Jolani administration would’ve wanted to take over these regions properly, they would’ve used their military instead of relying on tribesmen that have always created chaos and now demand more authority over the regions from the STG as they were the ones whom *liberated the Jazeera* These developments will have severe consequences in the long run.

This should be viewed from another perspective. The Syrian Government is admitting hereby that Raqqah, Deirezzor and Hassakeh province are in a state of chaos right now. The STG media denied that this was the case. It’s also an indirect confirmation that the Kurdish people residing in these regions were subjected to crimes and violence by the Syrian Government.
