Date: Sept 24, 2022 Topic: Do-it-all Approach 'Chapters of The Week' doesn't mean you have to finish that chapter within that week. Nor do you have to do the exact same chapter at that time. Look, when you are under my mentorship, you are the owner. No one on this planet knows your situation better than you. Therefore, enlighten yourself and take your own decisions. I cannot do anything more than showing you the path. Mostly, we have different chapters running in the coaching. Should we follow coaching or NJ bhaiya? If you do one thing, you will lose out on another. "No matter what you chose, you lose out on something." Consider this as an inescapable truth. But sometimes, that sounds horrible. But if we must leave something, how about we choose to give up less important things and focus on more important things? In this case, the net result will always be better. Students want to hold on to everything. They want to do ALL the chapters complete ALL the books Solve ALL the questions in the exam. They want to But that isn't how it works in reality. I will give you an example. Mr Somuch wants to solve all the questions in his JEE Advanced exam. He gets stuck on a difficult question and wastes 20 minutes. When time got over, he had to leave many questions unattempted, untouched, and unseen. Out of these questions, many were easy. If he had solved them, he could have improved his score considerably and cracked JEE, but poor strategy ruined it. He didn't want to leave any questions. But due to this, he had to leave so many questions that he failed JEE. Is this desire of doing-it-all helping you or RUINING YOU? When you want to do it all, you spoil it all. Therefore, we need to prioritise. In JEE, We have to give up less important things more for important things. We have to let small fires burn to extinguish bigger fires. Those who prioritise well, and let go of some things, might not score perfect, but they will end up in the best possible place. If it is an equally good chapter as the chapter of the week I gave, then do that chapter. For example, let us suppose Vector-3D is going on in your coaching. I told you to do Functions. Also, suppose that both these chapters are equally important. Then which -one to do? You should prefer Vector -3D. Let's take another example. Probability is going on in your coaching. You are not able to understand it. You are just attending lectures in vain. Then you should stop doing it and do functions. The idea, in this case, is to do the doable things first.
