Ok so on SSL, the only way it could have been triggered w/0 authorization is if Certificate Authority is hacked (extremely unlikely, although it has happened before) but let's discount that as very unlikely. Nobody here manually triggered it, which means it likely was an automated process... however, and this is the caveat, is that Namecheap doesn't show this renewal anywhere. the most likely scenario (~99%?) is it's automated cert but we want to be 100% so still looking into it
