This was a period of time i went through depression and suicidal thoughts.
Pain lingering from past trauma that i didnβt fully realise was there.
Sparked due to βheartbreakβ (classic boy).
Youβll get to hear in depth details of my depression in next weeks podcast episode.
But Iβll tell you something.
Everyday I would wake up with dominating thoughts of pain, questions that had no answers and just suffering.
This then would consume the day every single day.
To the point where I even contemplated not living so that it would end.
I used to be someone who believed suicide was cowardly but that was lack of awareness speaking.
After experiencing this myself I realised how easy it is for this to happen.
One day I just woke up and decided I didnβt want to feel this way anymore.
I made a clear intention.
It was like a switch.
No longer was my mind in control of me, but I was in control of my mind.
From that day on I havenβt experienced such lows ever again.
We are powerful beyond measure.

You donβt want to be average.
Fuck being average.
Everyone who chooses to be a trader isnβt choosing an average life.
However, you need to understand that by seeking an above average life, you need to put in above average work, you need to suffer above average pain, you need to do more than the average at all times!
No one said it would be easy or quick. If anything everyone says it will be hard and take a long time!
So get that into your minds. Embrace the pain and suffering and use it to your advantage. π«‘

Mindset Trinity is a concept/hack to improve your mental strength. π§
I give a specific example that I use personally, however think about things that require you to push your mentality to new heights.
Things that require you to silence that inner voice that seeks comfort and forces you to unleash something stronger, something more focused and something that requires growth.

Have a read and maybe for some of you it will share some very powerful lessons that aided me in my journey and specially in trading to build that financial foundation. π
Yes, I did lose in excess of Β£100,000 before I even came across trading. Failed in many others areas. Pain. Suffering. In the trenches. πͺπ½
The vision stayed strong. The legacy was still the focus and I learned to pivot and take the lessons I needed to push forward. Only when I was truly passionate about something- which for me was trading. π―
Even then I had to lose before winning. I lost Β£30-40k on blown accounts, losses and education before finding consistency. It only came when I decided to change. Decided to recognise the lessons that were repeating themselves and actively change. Change isnβt easy but itβs necessary if you want to succeed! π

Begin to document your journey, publicly or privately it doesnβt matter. What matters is being able to reflect on your thoughts and circumstances. π«‘
This quote is so true and so relevant to the majority of traders suffering. The market will slap you over and over until you learn your lesson. So start taking it on board and take action to change. π

Numbers Game π€
In this video I break down the importance of understanding that with each new β0β in money is a new level that is unlocked with it comes greater challenges but also greater rewards.
So many unfortunately are constantly trying to skip the process and jump straight from 0-100,000 for example.
This is extremely common but so is the mismanagement of money, losses and simply not getting anywhere.
Main reason for this is because people have not tried to respect the levels or build their awareness or actually work through the process.

In this video I explain the key differences between your entry drill and your trading plan. π§
Understanding why itβs important to have this separation and what should be included in each.
Itβs important to cover these aspects as majority unfortunately have no plan or very open ended plans that lead no where.
If you want to be a consistent trader you need to seriously look at your current systems and reflect on how clear, precise and repeatable they are.
To be a trader requires deep work and a much deeper understanding of both the charts and yourself.
Just using a list of random confluences each time will not lead to consistency because thereβs no consistency in what youβre looking for or the actions being taken.
