Sweden Turns To The Left In Sunday’s election, the left-wing coalition secured a parliamentary majority. By late Sunday, the gap between the two blocs narrowed to approximately 28,600 votes. The opposition, consisting of the Social Democrats, Left Party, Greens, and Center Party, was projected to win with a three-seat lead over the outgoing majority. After 6,200 out of 6,626 districts counted: By coalitions: Left: 176 (+3) Right: 173 (-3) +/- vs. Last election result Final results will be delayed, as ballots from 220,000 Swedes living abroad, who traditionally favor the right, will not be counted until September 16. Preliminary results closely match an exit poll by national broadcaster SVT. The bloc led by former Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson received 51.3 percent of the votes, while the current government under Ulf Kristersson received 46.8 percent. According to projections based on votes from 4,853 of Sweden’s 6,312 election districts, the bloc led by Social Democrats leader Magdalena Andersson was expected to win 175 seats in the 349-seat parliament. Stolen Electricity Powers Illegal Crypto Farms Across the World Electricity theft is a growing global problem. It is most common in developing countries because of limited grid infrastructure and reduced oversight, though developed countries are also affected. Theft ranges from individuals tapping into power lines for personal use to organized tapping to support large-scale cryptocurrency mining. Authorities discovered a clandestine operation in Puebla, where 300 computers continuously mined cryptocurrency using stolen electricity. The operation diverted power from a federal hydroelectric complex and may be connected to a larger money-laundering scheme. Police say this operation is one of many similar illegal activities in Puebla and neighboring states in central Mexico. The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) is leading a nationwide effort to address electricity theft. Between January and July 2024, 6,346 GWh were lost to theft, meter tampering, and illegal connections, resulting in losses of approximately 13.8 billion pesos (about $817 million). Losses are projected to increase in 2025 and 2026. Mexico is not alone in addressing this challenge. Electricity theft for cryptocurrency mining is a global problem, impacting both developed countries like England and developing nations. The issue is particularly acute in Southeast Asia. For instance, Malaysian authorities targeted illegal Bitcoin mining operations that stole approximately $1.1 billion in electricity from state-owned Tenaga Nasional between 2020 and 2025. During this time, police identified 14,000 illicit Bitcoin mining sites nationwide. Beyond financial losses, this activity threatens Malaysia's energy security. "The risk now extends beyond theft," said Deputy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir. "Our facilities may be compromised, which threatens our entire system." Global authorities are increasingly linking cryptocurrency mining schemes to organized crime. As Deutsche Welle (DW) reported last month, "Cryptocurrency mining is not inherently criminal, but authorities are increasingly finding links between illegal crypto mining, online gambling, money laundering, and Southeast Asia's industrial-scale cyber scam networks." In Cambodia, cryptocurrency has been tied to forced labor. In Kyrgyzstan, often called Cryptostan due to widespread mining that exploits subsidized energy, police report that "virtual assets are being folded into the country's criminal infrastructure like cyber fraud, embezzlement, money laundering, [and] the concealment and movement of illicit funds." In Mexico, Bitcoin is suspected of being linked to the multiple homicide of a rock star and his family. Theo. Economy, Unalienable Rights & Ideas for an intelligent, mature audience. Oil Up Oil prices rose more than 3 per cent on Monday, after Houthi hit Saudi Arabia and Iran attacked ships in the Gulf. Brent crude futures rose $3.21, or 3.1 per cent to $107.82 per barrel. West-Texas Intermediate, WTI futures, U.S. crude gained 3.2 per cent to $103.22 per barrel. “This follows a step-up in attacks on Saudi Arabian energy infrastructure, including targeting the crucial east-west pipeline,” said ING commodity strategists, although noting that it was unclear how severe any potential damage was or how long the pipeline would be out of action. Brent futures gained almost 9 per cent last week, while WTI rose 2.6 per cent in the same period. Theo. Economy, Unalienable Rights & Ideas for an intelligent, mature audience. 40mins 56s 🇦🇺 @TopherField from TOPHER FIELD Digital Duty of Care Legislation is just another Fabian scheme: Albo's new campaign for a Digital Duty of Care gives us the CLEAREST example I've ever seen of the Fabian Method at work. THIS is why it feels like 'they're all the same', it's because the politicians really aren't in charge, and haven't been in my lifetime... there's a METHOD at work which is above politics, and thanks to this Fabian Method no matter who wins the election... we all lose. Thankfully it CAN be fixed, and actually quite easily by any government WILLING to do it... but to get a government WILLING, we need to be AWARE. This video shows you EVERYTHING you need to know to be able to SEE it, and support those who can DESTROY it. ..following on.. The event took place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, but the claim of "thousands" marching is contradicted by mainstream reporting, which cites a much smaller turnout. Here is the verified information from news sources: Event Details Date: Sunday, September 13, 2026. Location: Brisbane CBD, starting at Emma Miller Place and ending at Speaker’s Corner near Queensland Parliament. Organisers: Australian Lobby Group (founded by Scott Challen and Sam Bamford). Purpose: To launch an eight-week national tour demanding a five-year freeze on immigration and major cuts to temporary visas. Attendance Discrepancy Mainstream Media: The Australian reported that "hundreds of protesters" marched through Brisbane’s CBD. Alternative/Independent Media: Some independent outlets and social media posts claimed thousands attended, but these figures are not supported by mainstream news coverage or police estimates available in the search results. Key Speakers & Incidents Pauline Hanson: The One Nation leader was scheduled to speak but withdrew from the event due to security concerns. Scott Challen: The rally organiser addressed the crowd, stating, "The chain of command is completely and utterly beholden to bureaucracy, paperwork and woke ideology and it needs to end." Chants: Attendees chanted "end mass immigration," followed by "I don’t care" and "I’m not a racist." Political Context This march occurred during a period of heightened political tension over migration, with the Albanese government currently negotiating with the Coalition on visa reforms to meet net overseas migration targets. The event is part of the broader "March for Australia" movement, which has faced scrutiny in previous rallies (January & August 2026) for links to far-right groups, including neonazis - though organiser Scott Challen has stated he separated from those elements ✳️ 👏👏 One News Australia https://www.onenewsaustralia.com/pauline-hanson-brisbane-immigration-rally/ Note: This article promotes the "thousands" narrative and claims Pauline Hanson would speak, which contradicts mainstream reports of her withdrawal and lower attendance figures. Archive of The Australian (Live Blog) https://archive.is/2QZ45 Note: This is an archived snapshot of The Australian's live news blog from September 13, 2026. It contains the report stating "Hundreds have marched through Brisbane" and confirms Pauline Hanson withdrew due to security concerns. The Australian is a major mainstream outlet, but the live blog itself is paywalled; this archive link provides access to the specific snippets. .

British Fintech Firm Shares Client Data With Fraudsters Revolut, a British fintech company, confirmed that it disclosed confidential customer data after deceitful requests from a legitimate government agency domain. According to TechCrunch, attackers accessed personal data including names, dates of birth, postal and email addresses, phone numbers, and copies of documents such as passports and driver's licenses. In some cases, verification selfies, account statements, and transaction histories may also have been compromised. Revolut stated that only a limited number of clients were affected and that the company has contacted them directly. The exact number of victims and the government department involved have not been disclosed. “Revolut recently uncovered a complex external impersonation scheme, in which an unauthorized third party used an email from a legitimate government domain to send fraudulent information requests,” a company representative said. After discovering the incident, Revolut blocked the email address and notified the government agency, law enforcement, and regulators. The company emphasized that its systems, services, and customer funds were not affected. Cryptosecurity researcher ZachXBT noted the leak likely impacted high-net-worth clients. Revolut serves more than 80 million users worldwide and operates as a bank in over 30 countries. Theo. Economy, Unalienable Rights & Ideas for an intelligent, mature audience. ▫️ EHT NEWS FROM THE LAND OF THE COLONISED... 🇬🇧 End Human Trafficking 31 Aug 2026 🇬🇧 Dozens of children aged 12 or under reported to forced marriage unit since 2021 Schools will be missing children after the summer holidays, experts have warned, as new figures reveal the scale of underage forced marriage in the UK. At least 100 children aged 12 or younger have been referred to the government’s forced marriage unit in the past five years, an FOI request uncovered. There have been 27 children aged up to five who were referred to the service, while 62 were aged 10 or below. While not every referral indicates a forced marriage has taken or will take place, the figures have been branded ‘deeply disturbing’ given the young age of many of the children being monitored. Forced marriage is a criminal offence in the UK, with the legal age raised from 16 to 18 in England and Wales in 2023. Some perpetrators are being released after serving only part of their sentences, despite concerns about their behaviour, lack of remorse and continuing risk to the public. Survivors say the system is forcing them to relive their trauma while offenders return to their communities. Campaigners are calling for stronger protection for victims and tougher restrictions on the release of those convicted of serious sexual offences.
