A WISE ONCE OBSERVED SOME YEARS AGO CONCERNING LIFE ➖ HE Says ; What does a person gain from all his hard work ? At which he toils under the sun? A generation is going, and a generation is coming, But the earth remains as is. All things are quiet thoughtful, But No one can even speak of it. What has been is what will be, And what has been done will be done again. But when I reflected on all the works that my own hands had done and on all the hard work that I had toiled to accomplish in this life, I saw that everything was futile. So I came to hate life, because everything being done under the sun seemed distressing to me, for everything was futile, a chasing after the wind. I came to hate all that I had worked so hard for under the sun, because I must leave it behind for the man coming after me. And who knows whether he will be wise or foolish? Yet he will take control over all the things I spent great effort and wisdom to acquire under the sun. This too is futility. YET PEOPLE ARE STILL CONFUSED ABOUT THE MEANING OF LIFE, UNTIL THEY LIE IN DEATH BED WHEN IT DAWN ON THEM.
